  • Patent number: 7108722
Abstract: A prosthetic attachment locking device includes a body and a locking mechanism. The body has an axial hole that extends between a first surface and a second surface. The locking mechanism has a central axle with a pawl that communicates with the axial hole. The pawl is displaceable to selectively engage with an attachment pin received in the axial hole. The locking mechanism has a one-way clutch and a ratchet. The one-way clutch and the ratchet are formed to receive the central axle and permit one-way rotation of the pawl.

  • Patent number: 6979354
Abstract: A prosthetic attachment locking device includes a body and a releasing mechanism. The body has an axial hole that extends from a first surface to an opposing second surface, and a pawl receiving recess that communicates with the axial hole. The releasing mechanism has a central axle with a pawl that is received in the pawl receiving recess. The central axle has a clutch bearing that rotates the pawl in a first direction when an attachment pin is inserted into the axial hole. The clutch bearing secures the attachment pin in the body and is reversible such that an attachment pin can be inserted from the first surface or the second surface of the body. Because the prosthetic attachment locking device is reversible, the releasing mechanism can be positioned to project toward an interior of a residual limb whether used on a right-side residual limb or a left-side residual limb.

  • Patent number: 4997152
Abstract: A hoist-type support for use by hunters to support game objects and including a top head having circumferentially-spaced notches in excess of two and each notch pivotally receiving the upper end of a leg in a manner to limit the outward movement of the leg beyond a maximum angle of 70.degree. to the horizontal plane of the top head. A block and tackle unit having two blocks with the tackle extending therebetween, one of said blocks being connected to and depending from the top head and also having one end of the tackle fixed thereto. The other block having means to which game objects are connected for support thereby and the block and tackle unit also having a locking member which is operable automatically to prevent lowering of the other block after a game object has been connected thereto and elevated to a desired position.
