  • Publication number: 20240094884
Abstract: An embodiment may involve defining a process by first and second process design applications, wherein the process includes a set of stages; receiving, by a process visualization application, a reference to a parent entry and a definition of the process referencing the parent entry; based on the parent entry, identifying a first transformer class associated with the first process design application and a second transformer class associated with the second process design application, wherein the individual classes contain executable functions; converting an output of the first and second process design applications in a first configuration into a second configuration based on a first transformer class associated with the first process design application and a second transformer class associated with the second process design application, wherein the second configuration is accessible to the process visualization application; generating a display of the process in a hierarchical arrangement, wherein the hierarch

  • Patent number: 11475750
Abstract: An alert system for alerting a user in a virtual reality environment is provided. The virtual reality environment has a corresponding physical environment that is monitored by a detector of a fire alarm system through an alarm panel, and the virtual reality environment is provided to one or more user virtual reality devices by a central server. The alert system includes a processor in communication with the alarm panel of the fire alarm system and the central server of the virtual reality system and a memory. The processor continuously monitors the alarm panel of the fire alarm system, receives a signal from the alarm panel when an alarm of the detector has been triggered, and disconnects the one or more user virtual reality devices from the central server upon receipt of the signal.

  • Patent number: 11301033
Abstract: Systems and methods of assisting users in collision avoidance in a virtual reality environment include tracking a location of first and second users in a physical environment; based on the tracked location of each of the users, calculating a collision probability between the first user and the second user in the physical environment; comparing a threshold collision probability to the calculated collision probability; and when the calculated collision probability exceeds the threshold collision probability and the first user avatar visible to the second user and the second user avatar visible to the first user do not visually suggest to each of the first user and the second user a representation of the probability of collision in the physical environment, a collision alert is triggered.

  • Patent number: 10983589
Abstract: Systems and methods of assisting users in collision avoidance in a virtual reality environment include tracking a location, speed, and direction of movement of first and second users in a physical environment; based on the tracked location, speed, and direction of each of the users, calculating a collision probability between the first user and the second user in the physical environment; comparing a threshold collision probability to the calculated collision probability; and when the calculated collision probability exceeds the threshold collision probability and the first user avatar visible to the second user and the second user avatar visible to the first user do not visually suggest to each of the first user and the second user a representation of the probability of collision in the physical environment, a collision alert is triggered.

  • Publication number: 20200363639
Abstract: Systems and methods of unbinding the scope of a virtual reality environment. One method includes the steps of: providing a user virtual reality device to a user; providing the virtual reality environment to the user through the user virtual reality device, wherein the virtual reality environment has a corresponding physical environment in which the users are located when interacting with the virtual reality environment; providing a virtual offset in the virtual reality environment so that the ratio of the virtual reality environment to the corresponding physical environment is greater than 1:1; and providing a user avatar in the virtual reality environment through which the user explores the virtual reality environment.

  • Publication number: 20190228583
Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking object location and orientation in VR environments include: fixed position ultra-wideband transceivers transmitting within a physical space and receiving reflections of those transmissions; mobile objects located within the physical space, at least one of the mobile objects including one or more light-reflective tracking markers that reflect the ultra-wideband transmissions of the transceivers; one or more cameras mounted to at least one of the mobile objects, each camera including a wireless communication module; a processor in communication with the transceivers and the wireless communication modules of the cameras; and a memory in communication with the processor, the memory storing program instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: calculate the position of each mobile object using the reflections received by the transceivers in combination with the information received from the one or more cameras mounted to each mobile object.
