  • Publication number: 20230238557
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for capturing gas byproducts of a fuel cell system, such as nitrogen. Instead of dispelling the gas byproducts, a byproduct management system can engage in selective isolation, compression, and storage of the gas byproducts in various storage tanks. • Publication number: 20230231904
Abstract: Technology described herein can verify readiness of a customer tenant/customer for cloud provisioning based on the customer tenant. An example method comprises collecting, by a system comprising a processor, data based on user input from a customer tenant via a user interface, the data comprising information of a configuration setting that is to be used for cloud provisioning of a device based on the configuration setting. The method comprises, in response to collecting the configuration setting, analyzing, by the system, the configuration setting by comparing the configuration setting with respect to a selected rules check. The method comprises, in response to the analyzing of the configuration setting, determining, by the system, whether the configuration setting is acceptable for use in the cloud provisioning based on the configuration setting.

  • Patent number: 11280599
Abstract: A rifled barrel has a cylindrical channel longitudinally extending within the rifled barrel between an oppositely oriented muzzle opening and a breach opening, the cylindrical channel having a rifled portion and a non-rifled portion, the rifled portion having a land and a groove helically extending along a surface of the cylindrical channel from the muzzle opening toward the breach opening, the non-rifled portion being smooth and having a consistent diameter along a length. The diameter of the non-rifled portion of the cylindrical channel is equal to a diameter of the rifled portion measured between oppositely oriented sections of the groove. A transitional section of the rifled portion has a diameter measured between oppositely oriented land sections that gradually decreases along a section of the rifled portion adjacent to the non-rifled portion until equaling the diameter of the non-rifled portion.

  • Patent number: 11187509
Abstract: A projectile for loading into a rifled barrel includes a casing having a cylindrical body, a forward aerodynamic end, and a free end opposite the aerodynamic end, the cylindrical body of the casing defining an interior cavity extending to and in open communication with the free end. The projectile also has a bullet sized to initially slidably engage the casing along a partial length of the interior cavity through the free end. Upon discharge of propellant, the bullet is forced to slidably engage the casing farther within the cavity, preferably such that an entire length of the bullet is housed within the casing cavity, whereby a circumference of the casing is increased such that the increased circumference of the casing catches barrel rifling of the muzzleloader rifle. This allows a smaller caliber bullet to be used in a fouled barrel, while increasing accuracy of the muzzleloader rifle.

  • Patent number: 11002523
Abstract: A training cartridge for use in firearm malfunction training is disclosed. The training cartridge is used in a firearm including a clip or magazine to prevent conventional ammunition cartridges from being properly fed into the firing chamber of the firearm. The training cartridge includes a generally cylindrical body, a skirt portion extending outwardly relative to an outer surface of the body, an annular rim spaced from a lower surface of the skirt that is oriented toward the rim such that an annular recess is formed between the lower surface of the skirt and the rim. A feed malfunction is induced when a conventional ammunition cartridge, as it is fed into the firing chamber, is snagged by the adjacent training cartridge.

  • Publication number: 20200229662
Abstract: A device, for trapping an item in an intake hose of a vacuum before the item reaches a collection bin of the vacuum, includes a body and a screen. The body has a chamber, an entrance, and an exit. The chamber is configured such that when the chamber is coupled to an intake hose of a vacuum and the vacuum draws fluid into the intake hose, the fluid flows through the chamber. The entrance is couplable with an intake hose of a vacuum and configured such that when fluid flows through the body's chamber, the fluid enters the chamber through the entrance. The exit is coupleable with the intake hose of a vacuum and configured such that when fluid flows through the body's chamber, the fluid leaves the chamber through the exit. The screen of the device is disposed inside the body's chamber, and sized and configured to allow fluid that the vacuum draws in to flow through the body's chamber while preventing large objects suspended in the fluid from flowing through the body's chamber.
