    Abstract: Chewing gums and chewing gum bases which are cud-forming and chewable at mouth temperature contain a block polymer having at least four blocks Composed of at least two different monomer systems. The block polymer exhibits an Order-Disorder Transition temperature in the range of 10 to 250° C. Chewed cuds of the chewing gum may exhibit improved removability from environmental surfaces to which they may become undesirably attached. A processing method in which the gum is mixed and/or sheeted at a temperature above the Order-Disorder Transition temperature is described.
