  • Publication number: 20250015253
Abstract: A method for calendering an electrode tape via a calendering process, in which an electrode tape is passed through a roller gap of a pair of rollers of a calendering device, namely by compressing the electrode tape. During the calendering process a defect detection step is carried out, in which at least one defect of the electrode tape is directly or indirectly detected. If a defect is detected during the defect detection step, the pair of rollers is adjusted from a calendering position of the pair of rollers to an open position of the pair of rollers in an opening step, and this is before the defect reaches the roller gap. The defect detection step and/or the opening step is carried out, preferably automatically or fully automatically, via an open-loop and/or closed-loop control system of the calendering device.

  • Publication number: 20230045044
Abstract: A surgical simulation network system is provided that facilitates user training in various surgical procedures and subsequent assessments of the user by allowing the users and assessors to be at different physical locations. The surgical simulation network system is part of a network having various surgical trainers that capture user performance data related to various surgical simulations. The user performance data is subsequently accessible by one or more assessors via the surgical simulation network system that allows the assessors to assess the user's competency. Thus, the users and the assessors can be located at different locations. Furthermore, the performance of the simulation and the assessments can be performed at different times.

  • Publication number: 20090100362
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for allowing an advertiser or other user to create high-end advertisements via a plurality of software-based, predefined templates. The templates may be customized by a user to configure the appearance, flow, interactivity and other features of an advertisement. The present system further provides a user interface allowing a user to interact with and configure the templates, thus allowing the user to control the appearance, flow, interactivity, transitions, timers, etc. of the advertisement. In addition to controlling these parameters, the templates also allow a user to associate one or more content files, or assets, with an advertisement. Thus, an advertiser may easily incorporate a video or other content into an advertisement.

  • Publication number: 20090100331
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for allowing an advertiser or other user to create high-end advertisements via a plurality of software-based, predefined templates. The templates may include a timer for counting down the temporal length of an advertisement. Upon countdown of the timer to zero, the advertisement may terminate and automatically flow-through to the underlying content. The present system further provides a user interface allowing a user to interact with and configure the templates, thus allowing the user to control the appearance, flow, interactivity, transitions, timer, etc. of the advertisement. In addition to controlling these parameters, the templates also allow a user to associate one or more content files, or assets, with an advertisement. • Publication number: 20070289976
Abstract: A cargo container includes an outer aluminum shell or housing having side, rear, bottom and top walls and a front opening with a pair of hinged doors. The housing receives a molded box-shaped composite outer shell which receives a molded box-shaped composite inner shell defining a cargo chamber. Corresponding walls of the inner and outer shells and the doors confine insulation cassettes each including vacuum insulation panels forming layers, all protected by plastic sheets and plastic film. Air is circulated by blowers within the chamber through a refrigeration evaporator and electrical heating elements, and a rear portion of the housing encloses operating components including a refrigeration compressor, storage batteries and exhaust fans. A control system senses temperature within the chamber and smoke and humidity outside the container and controls the operation of the compressor, exhaust fans and other components from storage batteries or an external power source.

The housing receives a molded box-shaped composite outer shell which receives a molded box-shaped composite inner shell defining a cargo chamber. Corresponding walls of the inner and outer shells and the doors confine insulation cassettes each including vacuum insulation panels forming layers separated by a foam sheet and covered by corrugated plastic sheets, all wrapped with plastic film. Air is circulated within the chamber through a refrigeration evaporator and electrical heating elements, and a rear portion of the housing encloses a refrigeration compressor, storage batteries and a control system which senses the temperature within the chamber to operate the compressor and heating element from the batteries or an external power source to maintain substantially constant preselected temperatures within the chamber.
