  • Publication number: 20240063345
Abstract: A radiation-emitting semiconductor chip may include a semiconductor layer sequence having a first semiconductor layer of a first doping type and a second semiconductor layer of a second doping type. The chip may also include a first dielectric layer and a second dielectric layer arranged on the semiconductor layer sequence. A first recess may be arranged in the semiconductor layer sequence in a border region of the radiation-emitting semiconductor chip completely penetrating the first semiconductor layer. The first dielectric layer may cover the semiconductor layer sequence in the border region completely. The border region may be free of the second dielectric layer in an edge region. In addition, a method is disclosed for producing a radiation-emitting semiconductor chip.

  • Publication number: 20230032550
Abstract: An optoelectronic semiconductor device may include a semiconductor layer sequence, a directionally reflective layer being arranged on the first main surface of the semiconductor layer sequence, a first contact structure comprising a first current spreading structure arranged on a first surface of a first semiconductor layer of the semiconductor layer sequence, a second contact structure comprising a second current spreading structure arranged on a first surface of a second semiconductor layer of the layer stack, wherein the first current spreading structure and the second current spreading structure each consist of at least one transparent conductive oxide. Moreover, a method for producing an optoelectronic semiconductor device is described.

  • Publication number: 20170070066
Abstract: A remote control assembly includes a remote unit that may be carried. The remote unit may be in electrical communication with an extrinsic electronic device. The remote unit may be manipulated thereby facilitating the remote unit to wirelessly control functions of the extrinsic electronic device. A base unit is provided and the base unit may have the remote unit is removably positioned thereon. The base unit charges the remote unit when the remote unit is positioned on the base unit.

  • Patent number: 9225848
Abstract: The method of operating a network includes receiving a measurement of total traffic intensity, receiving an expected quality of service associated with a packet, and assigning the packet to one of two or more priority queues based on the measurement of total traffic intensity and the expected quality of service, the two or more priority queues having different delay metrics.

  • Publication number: 20140024336
Abstract: In one embodiment, the method includes determining serving time instants for serving each of a plurality of data requests received during a time period such that at least one peak data traffic load for the time period is reduced to a value less than or equal to a target data traffic load. The method further includes determining a magnitude of a difference between a time instant in which a data request is received and the corresponding serving time instant. The method further includes setting a subscriber price for the time instant in which the data request is received based on the determined magnitude. The method further includes offering the subscriber price to at least one subscriber in order that the at least one subscriber may one of delay and advance at least one data request by at least one time instant.
