Abstract: A hand-held mobile device configured to measure spinal curves for detecting and analyzing kyphosis. The measuring device is equipped with a detector that can sense the angle of at certain points of the spine by holding an edge of the device against the spine and detecting the angle of inclination of the device. The device can interface with a server for collecting, storing and analyzing several data points collected over time, and providing diagnoses and remedial measures.
