Abstract: The invention is directed towards a system where a head-mounted display (HMD), or other head mounted computing device, may annotate video data captured by the HMD. When a video is annotated on the computer processor, the data packet associated with that digital marker is encoded as an operation-encoded audio packet and sent over a secure audio link to the HMD. Sending the operation-encoded audio packet over the secure audio link requires the HMD to decode the packet into a data packet which may then be used to annotate a display on the HMD. The user of the HMD may be able to view his own recorded field of view on a display device which may then be annotated using the data in the data packet.

Abstract: A wearable camera with mobile device optical coupling provides hands-free point-of-view video-chat. The mobile device optical coupling is enabled by an optic transfer engine that comprises a communications bus, a video decoding module, a micro-display, and a housing. The communications bus initially receives optical sensor data from an optical sensing device (e.g., the wearable camera). Next, the video decoding module decodes the optical sensor data. The micro-display displays the decoded optical sensor data. The housing partially encloses the communications bus, the video decoding module, and the micro-display and has a mounting element that is configured to removably mount the optics couple to a computing device such that the micro-display is positioned in a field of view of another optical sensing device coupled to the computing device.

Abstract: An apparatus, method and diagnostic kit for assessing the presence or absence of a vaginal infection including bacterial vaginosis which includes a pH indicator means and a KOH patch for detecting bacterially derived amines. A method, apparatus and test kit for diagnosing vaginosis in a simple test series which can be readily performed in a doctor's office at the time a vaginal fluid sample is taken.
