  • Publication number: 20170367741
Abstract: A delivery device delivers a compression plate to a fracture line in a bone. The delivery device includes a body that retains the compression plate in a strained condition, the body including a proximal end, a distal end, and a first beam. The delivery device also includes a cover plate attached to and moveable relative to the body, the cover plate including a second beam. A space is defined between the first beam and the second beam that receives the compression plate. The delivery device also includes a compression clip that retains the compression plate in the space.

  • Publication number: 20170156768
Abstract: A bone plate according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, inter alia, a body portion. The body portion includes a first slotted portion extending at least partially through the body portion and a plurality of teeth adjacent the first slotted portion for engaging a driver in the first slotted portion. The body portion also includes a second slotted portion extending at least partially through the body portion and a ramped portion at least partially surrounding the second slotted portion. The ramped portion tapers from an outer surface of the body portion toward an inner surface of the body portion.

  • Publication number: 20100315678
Abstract: A system and method for wirelessly connecting a first device to a second device utilizing a contactless smart card or RFID tag provided in proximity with the first device, the smart card or RFID tag containing information allowing the first device to be connected to the second device for the purpose of establishing a one way or two way connection between the two devices. The system and method of the present invention also allows information contained in a credit/debit card to be wirelessly transferred into the first device, either directly or indirectly, through the second device.

  • Patent number: 6708316
Abstract: A system and method are provided for designing and manufacturing a semiconductor device, such as part of an integrated circuit. A template comprising a basic circuit diagram of a discrete circuit block and corresponding design equations are selected from a library. Desired performance parameters are selected and the value of one or more components of the circuit block are determined to allow the block to achieve the desired performance parameters.

  • Patent number: 6581934
Abstract: The present invention is a game, as a board game or computer game, relating to visualization and completion of geometric shapes. Repeating geometric shapes appear on a game board. The geometric shapes share perimeter boundaries with other geometric shapes on the game board. Game pieces are provided that correspond to a portion of the perimeter of one or more geometric forms. Players place game pieces on the game board, completing the geometric shapes.
