  • Patent number: 10422723
Abstract: A fixture for testing stiffness of a vehicle wheel by measuring vibration of the wheel includes a base and a retention member. The retention member is integral to the base. The retention member defines a distal end including a distal diameter and a proximal end being proximate to the base and including a proximal diameter. The proximal end includes a plurality of studs extending upwardly therefrom for being received by lug apertures defined by the vehicle wheel thereby securing the vehicle wheel to the retention member. The distal diameter includes a ratio to the proximal diameter of between 0.6 to 0.8 to one.

  • Patent number: 8807325
Abstract: Apparatus and method for forming (e.g. die necking) open ends of open-ended metal container bodies. An exemplary embodiment provides a number of movable holders for container bodies that move the container bodies along a path extending through the apparatus. A motor advances the holders and container bodies along the path in steps with pauses between each step. Each step advances one or more container bodies (and preferably two or more). One or more groups of work stations positioned adjacent to the path provides tool sets for carrying out a forming operation on one (and preferably two or more) container bodies simultaneously. Individual container bodies, or more preferably groups of two or more, are subjected to one or more forming operations during passage along the path (preferably the periphery of one or more star wheels).
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: August 19, 2014
    Assignee: Crown Packaging Technology, Inc.

  • Publication number: 20130212898
Abstract: A golfing accessory for attachment to a golf bag for drying a plurality of golf gloves. The golfing accessory includes a flexible strap that includes a plurality of spring loaded clips to securely hold the golf gloves to the accessory and facilitate the drying process. The flexible strap also includes a snap lock fastener and a ring that enables the accessory to be attached to a golf bag and a second golf accessory to increase the drying capacity of the accessory. The golf accessory further incorporates an appealing display area that is suitably large and easily viewable, such that a product or service logo or name, or the owner's name or initials can be attractively displayed.
