Abstract: A symbol cipher system. The system has a symbol cipher application for execution on a digital platform. The symbol cipher application has: a first group of symbol components; a first range of code entry fields; a cipher correlation table. The cipher correlation table correlates the first group of symbol components to a first range of language characters. The first group of symbol components can be entered into the first range of code entry fields for registration of a symbol information item in an application database.

Abstract: Some embodiments of a method for premises management networking include monitoring premises management devices connected to a gateway at a premises; controlling premises management devices connected to the gateway at the premises; receiving, at the premises, an uplink-initiation signal associated with a network operations center server; and in response to the uplink-initiation signal, initiating, from the gateway at the premises, communications between the gateway and the network operations center server; and communicating, during the communications between the gateway and the network operations center server, information associated with the premises management devices.

Abstract: In a transmitter designed for periods of extended use, means for sensing the ambient temperature in which the transmitter would operate if activated and adjusting the initial output power of the transmitter so as to reduce the initial output power of the transmitter to maximize or increase the power output above that obtainable using existing protective techniques over an extended period.
