Abstract: A mower deck includes a cutting blade and a top wall, a peripheral baffle, and a guard baffle. The cutting blade is configured to rotate in a direction of rotation around a rotational axis to clip grass. The cutting blade is rotatably mounted on the top wall. The peripheral baffle protrudes from the top wall. The top wall and the peripheral baffle define a cutting chamber configured such that clippings of the grass flow in the cutting chamber. The peripheral baffle defines a discharge opening configured such that the clippings are discharged through the discharge opening. The guard baffle protrudes from the top wall in the cutting chamber to guide the clippings toward the discharge opening.

Abstract: A mower discharge chute assembly includes a first side plate, a folding top cover, and a coupler. The first side plate is configured to cover a side opening of a mower deck. The folding top cover is connected to the first side plate. The folding cover is foldable to have the side opening covered by the first side plate and unfoldable to have the side opening uncovered. The folding top cover includes top plates configured to be stacked when the folding top cover is folded. The coupler is provided on the mower deck adjacent to the side opening to movably couple the folding top cover to the mower deck.
