  • Publication number: 20240046228
Abstract: An automation computer can receive a set of instructions pertaining to a transaction. The automation computer can generate a request to generate and activate a virtual account, where the virtual account is associated with a transaction value and a transaction amount. The virtual account can be managed by an authorization computer that can load a transaction value onto the virtual account in an amount equal to the transaction amount. The authorization computer managing both issuer and acquirer functionality in a transaction settlement can settle the transaction rapidly using the loaded virtual account by depositing the transaction value associated with the virtual account directly into an account of a resource provider.

  • Publication number: 20230289768
Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a network computer from a resource provider computer, a settlement request associated with an installment plan and a total amount associated with a user account. The network computer transmits, to the resource provider computer, a settlement response associated with the installment plan and the total amount. The network computer configures an installment record, the installment record comprising a plurality of installment times. Based on occurrence of an installment time, of the plurality of installment times in the installment record, the network computer transmits, to an authorizing computer, installment data associated with the installment record to an authorizing computer, wherein the authorizing computer transmits an installment payment request to a user responsive to receiving the installment data from the network computer.

  • Patent number: 11687903
Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a network computer, a request message including interaction data for an interaction with a user. The interaction data includes an account identifier for an account of the user. The network computer determines that the interaction is eligible for an installment plan by analyzing the interaction data. Based on determining that the interaction is eligible for the installment plan, the network computer transmits data identifying the installment plan. The network computer receives acceptance of the installment plan by the user. Responsive to confirming the acceptance, the network computer initiates the installment plan.

  • Publication number: 20180322489
Abstract: According to some embodiments of the invention, both open loop and closed loop processing may be implemented by a transaction processor. For general, unrestricted transactions, the transaction processor may direct authorization to an open loop primary authorizing entity associated with a primary account number (PAN). For restricted transactions, the transaction processor may determine the appropriate closed loop authorizing entity (e.g., a transit agency, an insurer, a retailer, etc.). The transaction processor may further create an entry in a multi-access blockchain evidencing the transaction on the closed loop or restricted account with that authorizing entity. Thus, the multi-access blockchain may be kept up-to-date, allowing the closed loop authorizing entities to verify transactions and account balances instantaneously.
