  • Publication number: 20240127642
Abstract: A computer includes a processor and a memory, and the memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive time-series data from sensors of a vehicle, determine an efficiency of the vehicle, and determine a probability of a fault occurring in the vehicle based on the time-series data and on the efficiency. The efficiency is energy consumption by the vehicle per distance traveled by the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240112351
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for an insulation system of a stator. In one example, a method may include receiving images of the stator at a processor of a computing system and feeding the images to a deep learning tool to generate processed images by segmenting and cropping the images according to slots identified in the images. Further, the varnish in the processed images may be quantified based on fluorescence of the varnish, converted into estimated varnish fill percentages, based on an output from analysis of the processed images, and the estimated varnish fill percentages may be displayed in a report.

  • Publication number: 20240112319
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for an insulation system of a stator. In one example, a method may include receiving images of the stator at a processor of a computing system and processing the images by converting the images to one or more of cluster-only images and binary masks. The images may be fed to an artificial intelligence (AI) model to obtain one or more of varnish estimates and void estimates to generate a training dataset which may be used to train a deep learning tool to estimate varnish fill percentages from the images and display the varnish fill percentages at a display device.

  • Patent number: 11876470
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for adapting pulse width modulation with randomized zero-sequence components for control of an electrified powertrain of a vehicle. In one example, a method may include determining a zero-sequence voltage of an electric machine of the vehicle based on a random distribution, and adjusting a voltage reference signal of the electric machine based on the determined zero-sequence voltage to decrease ambient acoustic noise in the vehicle. In this way, spectral energy dispersion of pulse width modulated control of the electric machine may be increased without affecting torque production of the electric machine.

  • Patent number: 11842223
Abstract: Disclosed herein is the integration into edge nodes of a telecommunications network system of client computer system and server computer system where the server computer system includes a pool of shareable accelerators and the client computer runs an application program that is assisted by the pool of accelerators. The edge nodes connect to user equipment, and some of the user equipment can themselves act as one of the client computer systems. In some embodiments, the accelerators are GPUs, and in other embodiments, the accelerators are artificial intelligence accelerators.

  • Publication number: 20220405104
Abstract: Disclosed are various examples of providing cross platform accelerator remoting between complex instruction set computer (CISC) components and reduced instruction set computer (RISC) components of a computing environment. An accelerator remoting server receives accelerator instructions executable by a locally installed accelerator device and provides the accelerator instructions to the accelerator device. The accelerator remoting server transmits accelerator results to an accelerator remoting client to complete the cross platform or platform agnostic accelerator remoting.

  • Patent number: 11469702
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for adaptive pulse width modulated control of an electrified powertrain of a vehicle. In one example, a method may include perturbing a switching frequency for pulse width modulated control of the electrified powertrain, and, responsive to sound measured in a vehicle cabin indicating a noise improvement after the perturbation, controlling the electrified powertrain with the perturbed switching frequency. In this way, acoustic emissions from an electrified powertrain may be reduced.

  • Patent number: 11224975
Abstract: A method of separating a blank from a stack of blanks is provided and includes grasping a first blank and moving the first blank away from a plurality of blanks. At least one additional blank from the plurality of blanks is adhered to the first blank to form a sub-stack of blanks and at least one impulse electrically generated force (EGF) is applied to separate the at least one additional blank from the first blank. The first blank may be grasped by a device with a force F1, and the at least one impulse EGF may be less than the force F1. Also, the at least one impulse EGF may be applied to separate the at least one additional blank from the first blank by passing a pulse of current through an EGF generator positioned adjacent the first blank and inducing an EGF within the plurality of blanks.
