    Abstract: A skateboard has a body that has a first end and a second end, a first mounting plate positioned adjacent the first end of the body with recesses formed therein, a second mounting plate positioned adjacent the second end of the body with recesses formed therein, a housing positioned within each of the recesses of the first and second mounting plates, and a ball-and-socket assembly resiliently positioned within an interior of each housing. A brake extends angularly downwardly from the first end of the body.
