Abstract: The invention relates to new benzodisultams of the general formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents an optionally substituted radical from the series comprising alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, aralkyl and aryl,R.sup.2 represents hydrogen or an optionally substituted radical from the series comprising alkyl, alkemyl, alkinyl and aralkyl, andR.sup.3 represents an optionally substituted and/or optionally fused six-membered aromatic heterocyclic radical which contains at least one nitrogen atom,a process for their preparation and their use as herbicides.

Abstract: Herbicidally active novel 1-(2-oxyaminosulphonylphenylsulphonyl)-3-heteroaryl-iso (thio)-ureas of the formula ##STR1## in which R is optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl-alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, aryl or heteryl,R.sup.1 is optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkyl-alkyl, aralkyl or aryl,R.sup.2 is hydrogen, or optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl or aralkyl,R.sup.3 is an optionally substituted and/or optionally fused 6-membered aromatic heterocycle which contains at least one nitrogen atom, andQ is oxygen or sulphur,or strong acid-adducts thereof.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of a 1-(2-oxyaminosulphonyl-phenylsulphonyl)-urea of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is an optionally substituted radical from the series comprising alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, aralkyl and aryl,R.sup.2 is hydrogen or an optionally substituted radical from the series comprising alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl and aralkyl, andR.sup.3 is an optionally substituted and/or optionally fused six-membered aromatic heterocyclic radical containing at least one nitrogen atom,comprising reacting water with a benzodisultam of the formula ##STR2## at a temperature between 0.degree. C. and 100.degree. C. The products are herbicidally active.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of a sulphonyliso(thio)urea of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents an optionally substituted radical from the group consisting of alkyl, aralkyl, aryl and heteroaryl,R.sup.2 represents an optionally substituted and/or optionally fused, six-membered aromatic heterocycle containing at least one nitrogen atom,R.sup.3 represents an optionally substituted radical from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkyl-alkyl and aralkyl, andQ represents oxygen or sulphur,comprising reacting a sulphonylguanidine of the formula ##STR2## in which R.sup.4 represents an optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical,with a compound of the formulaH--Q--R.sup.3at a temperature between 0.degree. C. and 150.degree. C. The products are known herbicides.

Abstract: N-Cycloalkyl-N'-substituted-N'-acyl-ureas of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is cycloalkyl,R.sup.2 is cycloalkyl or optionally substituted phenyl, andR.sup.3 is cycloalkyl or substituted phenyl,which are active against plant bacteria.

Abstract: O-Alkyl-O-(N,N-dimethylformamidino)-phenylthionophosphonic acid diesters of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is alkyl with 1 to 6 carbon atoms,R.sub.2 is alkyl with 1 to 6 carbon atoms or phenyl,R each independently is a halogen atom or a nitro group, andn is 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4, which possess arthropodicidal properties.
