  • Publication number: 20190053100
Abstract: A network node for a wireless communication system is provided. The first network node comprises a processor configured to obtain channel quality information for a user device, obtain a load information for first radio access resources, determine a first association of the first radio access resources to the user device based on the channel quality information and the load information, the first association being valid during a first validity time period, compute first user data rates for the first radio access resources based on the channel quality information, determine a utilization of the first radio access resources based on the first association and the first user data rates. A corresponding method, a wireless communication system, a computer program, and a computer program product are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20180054288
Abstract: An Access Node (ANd), for allocating a beacon resource pattern to a User Node (UNd), is configured to: detect the UNd by receiving an uplink beacon signal from the UNd; allocate a beacon resource pattern from a predetermined set of beacon resource patterns to the detected UNd; and signal information about the allocated beacon resource pattern to the UNd.

  • Publication number: 20180049268
Abstract: A method for assigning radio resources to a UE comprises receiving an uplink beacon transmission during a beacon occasion of the UE, determining that the uplink beacon transmission corresponds to a need by the UE for radio resources in an upcoming communication occasion of a discontinuous communication mode implemented by the UE, identifying at least one TRP to participate in data communication with the UE, receiving a grant of radio resources for the data communication, wherein the grant of radio resources is specified for use in the upcoming communication occasion, and transmitting the grant of radio resources to the UE.

  • Publication number: 20180014318
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a network node having a processor and a transceiver. The processor is configured to select at least one user device if a Channel Estimation Timer (CET) for a radio channel between the network node and the at least one user device is valid, and to schedule data transmission to the at least one selected user device. The transceiver is configured to perform the scheduled data transmission to the at least one selected user device. The present disclosure also describes a corresponding method, a wireless communication system including such a network node, a computer program, and a computer program product.

  • Publication number: 20170288820
Abstract: A transmitter (110), a receiver (120) and a method (700) for communicating data packets. The method (700) comprises receiving (701) a data packet and determining (702) if it is a re- or new transmission; and, when it is a retransmission: combining (703) the received (701) data packet with oldest unsuccessfully decoded data packet stored in a second memory (850), and decoding (704) the combined (703) data packet; when it is a new transmission: decoding (704) the received (701) data packet; checking (705) if the decoding (704) is successful; deleting (706) the oldest stored data packet in the first memory (840); storing (707) the decoded (704) data packet in the first memory (840) when the decoding (704) is successful or storing (707) the decoded (704) data packet in the second memory (850) when the decoding (704) is not successful; and transmitting (708) feed-back information to the transmitter (110).

  • Patent number: 8194630
Abstract: A method for transmission mode change in a telecommunication network, said network having a public network comprising at least one public base station (NB) covering a public cell and a private network comprising at least one private base station (PBS) covering a private cell, wherein said at least one private base station has limited access rights for User Equipment (UEs) in the private network, and where said UEs are able to also communicate with the public network, comprising the step of: performing a private base station transmission mode change when the private base station is in an interference reduction transmission mode to an active transmission mode when a UE with access right to said private base station is detected in proximity of said private base station, where a detection of said proximity is based on information being specific for said UE and its relation to said private base station. The disclosure also relates to a telecommunication system.
