  • Patent number: 5822022
Abstract: In a video system for displaying a video picture composed of image points, whose color values and/or brightness values can be stored sequentially, according to a first set of parameters with predetermined parameter values containing number of lines, number of image points, line frequency and frame frequency as parameters, in an image storage which can be read out in accordance with a second set of parameters with different or identical parameter values for the parameters for displaying the stored video picture by means of a display device, the display device contains an individual light source which can be controlled in accordance with the color values and/or brightness values of the image points and whose light bundle can be projected onto a picture screen via an optical system, wherein the optical system has a raster scanning device by which the light bundle can be directed onto the picture screen on optional points within an image field for displaying the video picture of suitable dimensions and for which

  • Patent number: 5694180
Abstract: In a projection system for projecting a video picture composed of picture points on a screen with at least one light source which emits a light bundle and can be varied in intensity and with a deflecting device which deflects the light bundle to illuminate the picture points on the screen, a transformation optical system having at least two stages is arranged between the deflecting device and the screen and is corrected according to the tangent condition so as to be free of distortion. The transformation optical system has at least two optical stages. The first optical stage produces an intermediate image plane which is imaged on the screen by means of the subsequent optical stage (s).

  • Patent number: 5485225
Abstract: A video projection system with at least one light source which can be controlled in intensity and generates at least one light bundle and with a deflecting device which deflects the light bundle sequentially to produce picture points of a video picture on a screen by picture and line scanning has two component groups, the first of which contains at least one light source and has a light output from which at least one light bundle exits, while the second component group contains the deflecting device and has a light input through which a light bundle can be imaged into the deflecting device. Further, a light transmission device is provided which enables the light output of the first component group to be optically connected with the light input of the second component group.

  • Patent number: 5440352
Abstract: A television projection system for generating picture points of a television picture has at least three light sources which may be controlled in intensity for light signals (R.sub.L ', G.sub.L ', B.sub.L ') of different wavelengths, wherein the hue of each picture point is fixed by means of color value signals (R, G, B) in a first base system which may be represented in a CIE diagram by corner points of a hue region which are defined via wavelengths of screen phosphors. The wavelengths of the light signals determine a second base system which shares a common range of hues with the first base system. Further, an input circuit is provided for generating at least three electrical signals which are proportional to the color value signals (R, G, B) or contain a mixture thereof, and a control device is provided for controlling the light sources.

  • Patent number: 4474470
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for color detection when evaluating printed materials, maps or the like in that a color pattern under investigation is arranged substantially in the plane of a reference color pattern and both being cyclicly detected by an opto-electronic detection unit. The detector, itself consists of only one opto-electronic transducer comprising a plurality of detecting faces which receive the color informations from an illumination source reflected at both color patterns. The opto-electronic transducer is followed by an evaluation electronic means which compares the reference color pattern and the investigated color pattern and associates the respective patterns.

  • Patent number: 4383760
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for positioning an object relative to a carrier means, particularly for use in digital image conversion where an object has to be accurately positioned relative to the carrier means. This is achieved by tensioning said object by means of two strips and an elongated member to a mounting piece which moved by a displacement means positions said object. The positioning operation is observed through a measuring microscope.

  • Patent number: 4353538
Abstract: The invention relates to an input/output device for unexposed or latently exposed photographic sheet material for use in combination with photographic material evaluation devices. The invention comprises a flat light-tight cartridge having an opening, a film support displaceably arranged within said cartridge and externally operable, and a light-stop for said opening. The cartridge is insertable into a socket of the evaluation device so that the film can be shifted out of the cartridge and into the likewise light-tight evaluation device to be secured to holding means of a recording drum in said device. By sucking means within and respective rotation of said drum the film is evenly attached to the drum surface. By control of the input/output operation by means of a control unit an automatic handling of film material at normal light conditions is feasible.
