  • Patent number: 8955575
Abstract: A shade arrangement for a motor vehicle with at least one shade length and at least one roller tube for taking-up and unrolling the shade length, each side edge of the shade length having at least one flexible, flat guide strip which extends along the drawing direction of the shade and is guided in a guide. The guide contains a connecting link in which the guide strip is guided, and which has an exit gap through which the shade length emerges from the guide, the guide strip being guided such that its base surface is guided essentially parallel to the adjacent region of the shade length. The shaping and dimensioning of the exit gap and guide strip are such that the guide strip cannot emerge from the guide by itself. The shade length is connected to the roller tube via at least one constant force spring.

  • Patent number: 7798567
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle roof (10) comprising at least one at least partially transparent roof part (14) that can be moved in order to at least partly open a roof opening (17), and a blind (20) which allows the movable roof part (14) to be covered from below at least in the closed position of the roof part (14). Said blind (20) is equipped with a blind web (22), an extensible hoop that is arranged at the front edge of the blind web (22), and a blind shaft (26) for winding up the blind web (22). The extensible hoop (24) is coupled to an electric driving motor via a dog so as to displace the extensible hoop along a guide. In order to make the vehicle roof more comfortable to operate, the extensible hoop (24) is removably coupled to a dog which is connected to the driving motor such that the blind (20) can be operated with the aid of the driving motor and can be displaced manually without being coupled to the driving motor.

  • Publication number: 20080211266
Abstract: Uncontrolled take-up of a shade and often unexpected noise development are perceived as disturbing by the operator. Therefore, it is provided that a shade arrangement with a length of shade material (10) and a take-up roll (12) to which the length of shade material is attached and which is pretensioned by spring force in the take-up direction of the length of shade, has a pressure volume (46) coupled to the free end (16) of the length of shade material (10) such that, when the length of shade material is unrolled from the take-up shaft (12), a pressure is built up in the pressure volume which, when the length of shade material is released from a position in which it is at least partially unrolled from the take-up roll, the take-up motion of the length of shade is braked.
