  • Publication number: 20220228315
Abstract: Described herein are aqueous coating compositions including at least one dispersion of core/shell particles containing a polyurethane resin as core portion and a crosslinked acrylic resin as shell portion and at least one aqueous polyurethane-polyurea dispersion containing crosslinked polyurethane-polyurea particles. Also described herein is a method for forming a multilayer coating on a substrate using the aqueous coating compositions as basecoat compositions. Also described herein is a multicoat paint system produced by the method.

  • Publication number: 20170355876
Abstract: The present invention relates to nonaqueous coating material compositions comprising (A) at least one polyhydroxyl group-containing component (A), (B1) at least one isocyanate and silane group-containing component (B1), and (D) at least one catalyst (D) for the crosslinking of silane groups, which composition comprises (B2) at least one isocyanate group-containing component (B2) which is different from component (B1) and which additionally has at least one perfluoroalkyl group of the formula (I) CR13—(CR22)f—??(I) where R1 and R2 independently of one another are H, F and/or CF3, but R1 and R2 may not both be H, and f is 1 to 20, preferably 3 to 11, more preferably 5 to 7. A further subject of the present invention are the coatings produced from these coating material compositions, and also their use.
