Abstract: A grounding connector can include a connector body and a shear bolt. The connector body can have a recess sized to receive one or more conductors and a threaded portion. The shear bolt can be sized to engage the threaded portion of the connector body to secure the one or more conductors within the recess. When the shear bolt is tightened into the threaded portion of the connector body, the shear bolt can retain the one or more conductors within the recess. When the shear bolt is subject to a shear torque, a head of the shear bolt can shear from a body of the shear bolt. The shear torque can correspond to a target compression force applied between the shear bolt and the one or more conductors.

Abstract: A modular distribution block for a high-current power system includes a ground module and one or more phase modules. The ground module includes a grounding clamp configured to electrically and mechanically connect to a DIN rail and to retain the distribution block in place with respect to the DIN rail. The phase module(s) include: a conductive splice block that connects a line current from a power supply to a powered device; and, a first surge protective device (SPD) terminal and a second SPD terminal configured to together receive and electrically connect to an SPD module, such connection forming a surge protection circuit within the distribution block, the first SPD terminal electrically connecting to the bus terminal and the second SPD terminal electrically connecting, to the splice block. A rigid bus bar electrically connects the ground module to the phase module(s).

Abstract: A trailer wiring connector to provide mating to a trailer-side wiring harness. The trailer wiring connector includes a plug and a freely rotatable nut. The plug is configured to electrically communicate with electrical systems of a trailer. The freely rotatable nut is movably surrounding the plug and configured to mate with a trailer wiring connector assembly. At least two projections are disposed on the plug and preventing the freely rotatable nut from being removed.
