  • Publication number: 20240093378
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a coated body, with a substrate and a coating arranged on the substrate, which coating comprises at least one base layer applied to the substrate and at least one metal carbide-containing layer arranged over the base layer, which layers are applied by means of magnetron sputtering. Furthermore, the invention relates to a coated body produced according to the method.

  • Patent number: 10670070
Abstract: A telescopic drive shaft in a protective tube of a handheld work apparatus has one end connected to a rotational drive and the other end thereof to a driven tool. The drive shaft includes a rigid shaft segment and a connecting section. The rigid shaft segment has a hollow shaft end portion and an engagement length (E) of the connecting section engages therein. The engagement length (E) and the length of the hollow shaft end portion mutually overlap to form a joining section. The hollow shaft end portion is deformed for connecting the connecting section to the rigid shaft segment. The material of the hollow shaft end portion is compressed over its entire periphery and deformed so that the material of the hollow shaft end portion is radially displaced and is pressed in a rotative manner onto the engagement length (E) to produce a balanced, loadable connection.

  • Publication number: 20180116378
Abstract: A receiving clamp for a power tool has a clamp body with first and second end faces and a receptacle extending from the first to the second end face. The receptacle is provided to receive a guide rod of the power tool. The receptacle has a longitudinal center axis and a slot extending from the first to the second end face. The slot is open across its entire length relative to the environment. The clamp body has bending elasticity in a direction transverse to the slot so that the slot can be widened. A suspending location is arranged on the clamp body and connectable to a carrying system for the power tool. The suspending location is arranged such that, when the receiving clamp is suspended by the suspending location and the longitudinal center axis is positioned in a horizontal plane, the slot is lower than the suspending location.

  • Patent number: 9343337
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for coating a substrate using CVD, in particular for coating with diamond or silicon, wherein a neat conductor array composed of a plurality of elongated heat conductors (2) is provided in a housing (9), said heat conductors extending between a first (1) and a second electrode (6), wherein the heat conductors are held individually tensioned by a weight (4) attached to one end thereof. To increase the life of the neat conductors (2), the invention proposes that the weight (4) or the heat conductor (2) be guided at the second electrode (6), forming an electrical loop contact, in such a way that a vector of the weight force (G) produced by the weight (4) makes an angle (?) of no more than 45° with a direction of the longitudinal extension of the heat conductor (2).

  • Patent number: 9175384
Abstract: The invention relates to a body with a substrate (1), an intermediate layer (2) applied on top thereof and a CVD diamond layer (3) applied to the intermediate layer. In order to propose a body coated with CVD diamond and a production process, in which the body has an increased load-bearing capacity under various mechanical loads, provision is made for the intermediate layer to be predominantly metallic, wherein the metal fraction of the intermediate layer consists predominantly of tungsten and/or chromium, and for the intermediate layer to have a roughness defined by an Rz value of 0.5 ?m-3.0 ?m.

  • Patent number: 9127350
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for coating a substrate (14) using CVD, in particular for coating with diamond or silicon, wherein a heat conductor array comprising a plurality of elongated heat conductors (2) is provided in a housing (10), said heat conductors extending between a first (1) and a second electrode (8), wherein the heat conductors (2) are held individually tensioned by a tensioning device attached to one end thereof. For the purposes of improving the life of the heat conductors (2), the invention proposes that the tensioning device comprises a tilt arm (5) having a tensioning weight (G), the heat conductor (2) being attached to the first end (E1) of said tilt arm, and the second end thereof substantially being mounted pivotably about a horizontal axis (H).
