  • Patent number: 11585349
Abstract: A blower unit for a portable handheld blower apparatus has a housing section and a tubular receiving space, formed in the housing section, with a first axial end and a second axial end and with a longitudinal center axis. Arranged in the receiving space of the housing section is an axial blower for generating a blower air flow, the axial blower being driven by a drive motor. The receiving space has an intake opening at its first axial end and a discharge opening at its second axial end. In order to reduce operating noise, an air guide plate is arranged at an axial distance in front of the intake opening, the air guide plate having external dimensions that are greater than the external dimensions of the intake opening. An annular gap that supplies intake air is formed between the air guide plate and an outer periphery of the housing section.

  • Patent number: 10107292
Abstract: A vacuum/blower device is provided with a drive motor and a fan operatively connected to the drive motor and driven by the drive motor. A switching device is provided that switches the vacuum/blower device from a vacuum operation to a blower operation and from the blower operation to the vacuum operation. A suction pipe with an intake opening is provided, wherein, in the vacuum operation of the vacuum/blower device, a suction air flow is sucked in from the intake opening toward the fan in a first flow direction. The switching device switches a rotational direction of the fan, wherein the fan in the blower operation conveys a blower air flow through the suction pipe in a second flow direction that is oriented from the fan toward the intake opening.

  • Patent number: 10066565
Abstract: A method for operating an internal combustion engine, in particular a gas engine having at least two cylinders, includes acquiring a cylinder-specific first cylinder signal (pmax, E) from each cylinder. At least one combustion parameter (Q, Z) of the corresponding cylinder is controlled as a function of the first cylinder signal (pmax, E), and a cylinder-specific reference cylinder value (pmax?, E?) is set for the first cylinder signal (pmax, E) for each cylinder. The at least one combustion parameter (Q, Z) of the cylinder is adjusted as a function of the deviation of the first cylinder signal (pmax, E) from the reference cylinder value (pmax?, E?), and the first cylinder signal (pmax, E) tracks the reference cylinder value (pmax?, E?).

  • Patent number: 9689126
Abstract: An assembly includes a handheld work apparatus and a support. The support has a holder worn by an operator and a connector arrangement which is held at a first attachment on the holder and on a second attachment on the work apparatus. The connector arrangement is mounted on the second attachment so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis and supports the work apparatus in a rearward direction in relation to the operator and prevents a rearward movement of the work apparatus. The center of gravity of the work apparatus and the first attachment have a spacing (a) to one another measured in a horizontal and lateral direction in relation to the operator. The holder has, at the first attachment, a bracing device for supporting the tilting moment acting on the first attachment by the weight force (F) of the work apparatus because of the lateral spacing (a).

  • Patent number: 9587648
Abstract: A blower has a blower tube and a fan unit that conveys an air flow through the blower tube. The fan unit has a fan having a fan axis. The fan conveys the air flow in the direction of the fan axis. The air flow exits the blower tube in an outflow direction at a tube aperture. The handle has on its lower side a grasping point, which in the operating position of the blower, lies on a vertical axis through the blower's center of gravity. The tube aperture has a center axis that is oriented in the outflow direction. So that the forces received by the user at the handle during operation can be made smaller, it is provided for the spacing from the center axis of the tube aperture to the grasping point to be smaller than the spacing from the fan axis to the grasping point.

  • Patent number: 8381929
Abstract: A container for transporting and storing goods with a container base and at least two side walls that can be folded over one another, the two side walls are respectively pivotably supported through at least one hinge bolt in a hinge bolt receiver, wherein the hinge bolt receiver comprises an elongated recess extending perpendicular to the container base. The folded down side wall is movable from a lower end position, in which the folded down side wall contacts the container base, into an upper end position, which is displaced upward from the lower end position in a direction perpendicular to the container base. Hinge bolt is provided with a guided translatoric movement when the side wall is folded up from the lower end position, causing rotation of the hinge bolt in the hinge bolt receiver, so that the side wall moves upward in a direction perpendicular to the container base.
