  • Publication number: 20240012956
Abstract: A computer-supported method and a device for generating a digital representation of a technical structure, in particular of an electric motor, and a corresponding computer program product are disclosed. In the method, domain-specific models based on digital geometric data of components are provided, and on the basis thereof a model order reduction is carded out. The domain-specific models are hereby converted into modal coordinates which are used to determine a spectral behavior of the components using a respective modal analysis. Therefrom, corresponding state-space representations are generated as order-reduced spectral models. In order to simulate the technical structure as a whole, the spectral models are coupled together to form the digital representation, which describes the behavior of the technical structure across domains, in order to produce a simulation.
