  • Patent number: 11608047
Abstract: The operation of a hybrid powertrain system is optimized with respect to a desired state-of-charge trajectory, taking account of the estimated anticipated vehicle drive power. The hybrid powertrain system has an internal combustion engine and an electrically operated torque machine. The internal combustion engine and the torque machine are controlled by a control device and are connected to an output element via a hybrid transmission. Before the start of the prediction period ?t, an experience-based state-of-charge trajectory for the anticipated route, covering at least the prediction period ?t, is retrieved from an external database. The desired state-of-charge trajectory is established based on the experience-based state-of-charge trajectory by modifying it with at least one optimization constraint.

  • Patent number: 11592357
Abstract: To improve the identification of system parameters of a test setup of a test bench there is provision for the test setup to be dynamically excited on the test bench by virtue of a dynamic input signal being applied to the test setup. Measured values of the input signal of the test setup and of a resultant output signal of the test setup are recorded. A frequency response of the dynamic response of the test setup between the output signal and the input signal is determined using a nonparametric identification method. A model structure of a parametric model that maps the input signal onto the output signal is derived from the frequency response. The model structure and a parametric identification method are used to determine at least one system parameter of the test setup, and the at least one identified system parameter is used to perform the test run.

Abstract: In order to improve the identification of system parameters of a test setup of a test bench, in particular in terms of the quality of the identification, there is provision for the test setup (PA) to be dynamically excited on the test bench (1) by virtue of a dynamic input signal (u(t)) being applied to the test setup (PA) and, in the process, measured values (MW) of the input signal (u(t)) of the test setup (PA) and of a resultant output signal (y(t)) of the test setup (PA) being recorded, a frequency response (G(?k)) of the dynamic response of the test setup (PA) between the output signal (y(t)) and the input signal (u(t)) being determined from the recorded input signal (u(t)) and output signal (y(t)) using a nonparametric identification method, a model structure of a parametric model that maps the input signal (u(t)) onto the output signal (y(t)) being derived from the frequency response (G(?k)), the model structure and a parametric identification method being used to determine at least one system paramete

  • Publication number: 20200412341
Abstract: A filter that is capable of filtering a noisy, periodic measurement signal having oscillations at a variable fundamental frequency and harmonic oscillation components of the fundamental frequency. The measurement signal is subjected to low pass filtering in a low-pass filter of the filter with a cutoff frequency greater than the fundamental frequency. A harmonic oscillation component of the measurement signal as an n-fold of the fundamental frequency is determined in at least one self-adaptive harmonic filter of the filter. The at least one harmonic oscillation component is added to the low-pass-filtered measurement signal, the resultant sum is substracted from the measurement signal, and the resultant difference is used as input into the low pass filter. The measurement signal subjected to low pass filtering in the low-pass filter is output by the filter as a filtered measurement signal.

  • Publication number: 20200333201
Abstract: A dynamic system for an observer for estimating the internal effective torque of a torque generator, which can also process unfiltered measurement signals and is capable of mapping vibration effects in the estimated effective torque. An observer is designed with observer matrices and with an unknown input. The observer receives at least one noisy measurement signal of the input vector and/or the output vector. The observer estimates the state vector and the effective torque therefrom as unknown input in that the matrix, which determines the dynamic of the observer error as a difference between the state vector and the estimated state vector. The eigenvalues of this matrix lie in a range f2/5>?>5·f1, wherein f1 is the maximum expected change frequency of the at least one measurement signal, and the noise in the at least one measurement signal influences the frequency band which is greater than the frequency f2.

  • Patent number: 10768073
Abstract: In order to be able to construct test scenarios for vehicle development, with which tests can be carried out on a test bench during development, according to the present teaching, an output test in the form of a sequence of driving manoeuvres is carried out on the test bench with the test specimen and a value of the target variable is determined in this way. The result of the acquisition of the target variable resulting from the output test is divided into test segments and each test segment is checked for target-variable-critical relevance by means of a predetermined target variable relevance criterion. A driving maneuver assigned to the test segment or an assigned driving maneuver segment is recorded in the test if the target-variable-critical relevance of the test segment is given.

  • Patent number: 6968284
Abstract: In a method for the analysis and evaluation of measured values of an open test system, a test piece is monitored during a test run by at least one signal channel which sends a signal to an evaluation unit for further processing whereby at least one plausibility node is coupled with at least one signal channel. In order to allow a statement to be made about the value of plausibility nodes and their results in relation to a specific measuring task, an evaluated plausibility is ascertained for at least one of the measured values from the type and number of plausibility nodes as well as their possible, variable interconnection.

  • Patent number: 5168132
Abstract: An exhaust gas muffler comprises a double-walled casing having an inlet end receiving a stream of the exhaust gas and an outlet end for the exhaust gas, the outlet end comprising an outer tube surrounding a perforated inner tube spaced therefrom, and the tubes defining therebetween a perforation resonator chamber succeeded by a whistling sound resonator. The casing includes an outer wall and a corrugated inner wall defining a gap with the outer wall. A heat-resistant and sound-damping intermediate layer is arranged in the gap between the inner and outer walls and braces the inner wall against the outer wall. Transverse partitions divide the casing into a plurality of chambers between the inlet and outlet ends, and tubes connect the chambers and reverse the exhaust gas stream at least twice between the inlet and outlet ends.
