Abstract: A system and method for distributed credit account information is disclosed. The method receives, at a subsystem, a subset of credit account information from a main rules system. The subsystem then determines that a communication to the main rules system is disrupted. The subsystem utilizes the subset of credit account information to make at least one purchase authorization decision. After determining that the communication to the main rules system is operational, the subsystem provides a reconciliation data file including the at least one purchase authorization decision to the main rules system.

Abstract: A system and method for Internet-based management of displayed printed media is disclosed. The method and system receive a plurality of data files from a plurality of different sources, each of the plurality of data files comprising information about printed media at a single source, the information includes: a printed media version and a location identifier. Each of the plurality of data files are evaluated to determine that one or more of the plurality of printed media are out-of-date. A metric that identifies each location having the one or more of the plurality of printed media that are out-of-date is generated. An instruction is automatically provided to each location having the one or more of the plurality of printed media that are out-of-date to remove the one or more of the plurality of printed media that are out-of-date.

Abstract: Methods and systems for partial application data collection are disclosed. The method stores a network accessible application having a plurality of form fields. One or more processors generate a session identifier (ID) and timestamp for a user accessing the application. The one or more processors determine that a state within a form field of one of the plurality of form fields is in focus, the state of the form field being in focus when the user selects the form field. Additionally, it is determined when the state within the form field is no longer in focus. At that time, a countdown timer is initiated. When the countdown time reaches zero, any data entered into the form field is collected. The collected data and the session ID are then combined into a single user data file.

Abstract: A computer system comprises a memory, a cellular telephony communications device configured for sending and receiving cellular text messages, and a processor coupled with the memory and the cellular telephony communications device. The processor is configured to: receive, via the cellular telephony communications device, a cellular text message sent from a cellular telephone of an accessing entity, wherein the cellular text message includes a cellular telephone number of the cellular telephone, an instruction regarding reward points, and an image file; use the cellular telephone number to identify a reward program account; extract an authentication token embedded in data of the image file; authenticate access to the reward program account based upon the authentication token; and in response to authenticating access to the reward program account, execute the instruction.

Abstract: Using position location information to pre-populate and verify information on a credit application is disclosed. A mobile application for a retailer is downloaded to a mobile device. The mobile application on the mobile device obtains authorization to access location information on the mobile device. Location information for the mobile device is received at a computer system and from the mobile device, the location information generated by a positioning system on the mobile device, the location information comprising: historic location information stored in a memory of the mobile device and real-time location information. The location information is used to prefill at least a portion of a credit application.

Abstract: In a method of validating a customer in an electronic transaction, an electronic interface of a vendor requests a first set of personal information to validate a customer. The first set of personal information is requested as a portion of a transaction between the electronic interface and a customer device used by the customer. Responsive to the customer's authorization, the electronic interface receives from the customer device an encrypted token which includes a second set of personal information which identifies the customer and encompasses at least a portion of the first set of personal information. The encrypted token is provided to the customer device from a third-party via an application on the customer device and is configured with the second set of personal information prior to the transaction. The electronic interface completes the transaction using the second set of personal information decrypted from the encrypted token to validate the customer.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a delayed purchase based on input from another is described. One embodiment receives a selection of a product. A selection of at least one other person and at least one condition is also received. The at least one condition to be met before a purchasing of the product can be completed, the at least one condition to be met via a response received from the at least one other person. The method further receives a prior authorization for a purchase of the product. The system then monitors the at least one condition and the response received from the at least one other person to determine when the at least one condition is met and automatically purchases the product when the at least one condition is met.

The listening application listens for one or more sounds occurring in an environment about the mobile device. A database of sound files is accessed and a comparing occurs between the one or more sounds occurring in the environment with one or more sound files in the database of sound files. When it is determined, based on the comparing, that a successful scanning sound has been heard the offer is expired.

Abstract: A method of summarizing the terms and conditions of a customer agreement using the artificial intelligence of a computer system that receives a plurality of sets of terms and conditions for customer agreements. The artificial intelligence of the computer system also receives customer feedback on the plurality of sets of terms and conditions. The artificial intelligence trains to become a smart summarizer configured to summarize aspects of the plurality of sets of terms and conditions based on the customer feedback. The smart summarizer receives a new set of terms and conditions for a customer agreement. The smart summarizer creates a summary of the new set of terms and conditions. The smart summarizer outputs the summary in a human-readable format. The summary may be sent to a customer who is subject to the terms and conditions.

Abstract: A system and method for using a customer ID stored in a mobile wallet to facilitate a transaction is disclosed. The method stores, at a memory of a mobile device, a metadata file formatted for the mobile wallet on the mobile device, the metadata file includes an image of a customer's ID and a token. The metadata file is opened in the mobile wallet by one or more processors of the mobile device. When the metadata file is opened, an image of a customer's ID and a token is presented by the customer's mobile device. The presentation of the image of the customer's ID and the token on the mobile device is used to facilitate payment at a point-of-sale.

Abstract: A system for determining attribution for an electronic credit application is disclosed. The system receives, via an Internet connection, an electronic credit application for a new credit account, the application includes customer identification information provided by the customer. The system also receives application location information related to the electronic credit application for the new credit account, the application location information obtained from an electronic device, which is not provided by the customer and replaces any application location information provided by the customer. The system additionally receives associate identification information related to the electronic credit application for the new credit account, and associate identification information obtained from sources other than the customer's keyed input. The system determines at least one attribution based on the received information.
