  • Patent number: 11639986
Abstract: An optical device is provided for a distance measurement device according to the LIDAR principle. At least one light source is provided, along with a first means of deflection that during operation of the device deflects light emitted by the at least one light source into a first angle range. A second means of deflection is also provided that during operation of the device deflects the light emitted from the first means of deflection into a second angle range which is larger than the first angle range. Finally, an optical means is provided that influences the light in such a way that it hits the second means of deflection as convergent light.

  • Publication number: 20210109203
Abstract: A method and system for operating a LiDAR system for an environment detection in a field of view (FOV) of the system, wherein the following steps are performed: detection of at least one temperature measurement, which differs from a loading temperature in at least one light source of the system, estimation of the loading temperature based on the temperature measurement using an evaluation function, specification of an operating limit, which is specific for the maximum thermal load capacity of the light source, provision of a preset for at least one region of interest (ROI) in the field of view (FOV), adjustment of an operation of the system, and based on the preset for the region of interest (ROI) and the estimated loading temperature and the operating limit.

  • Patent number: 7345271
Abstract: The invention relates to an optoelectronic detection device, especially a laser scanner, comprising a transmitting device for transmitting preferably pulsed electromagnetic radiation, also comprising at least one receiving device which is associated with the transmitting device and at least one deflection device which is used to guide radiation which is transmitted by the transmitting device into a monitoring area and radiation which is reflected by the monitoring area to the receiving device. The transmitting device comprises several, preferably two, separate transmitting modules which respectively transmit radiation along a specific transmission path.

  • Patent number: 6573995
Abstract: A sensor device for detecting the degree of wetting and/or soiling of a pane or windshield arranged in a motor vehicle includes individual radiation guide elements integrally molded onto a wall of a housing to be separated from one another by a blocking element of the wall. This reduces the amount of ambient radiation from the environment. A radiation emitter and a radiation receiver are structured as SMD components which are arranged on a circuit board carrier. The sensor device created in this way has a simple and compact design.
