  • Patent number: 6779492
Abstract: The circulating fluidized bed reactor device comprising a reactor chamber delimited horizontally by walls, a centrifugal separator and a back pass for heat recovery The reactor device allows for the introduction of a fluidizing gas into the reactor chamber and for maintaining a fluidized bed of particles in said chambers. The gas to be dedusted is transferred from the reactor chamber into the separator, and the separated particles are discharged from the separator and the dedusted gas is transferred from the separator into the back pass. The reactor chamber and the separator both have a common wall with the back pass.

  • Patent number: 5924743
Abstract: The invention concerns a device adapted to be fixed and sealed to at least one cylindrical member (1, 1'), characterized in that it includes:a first sleeve (2),a second sleeve (3) coaxial with the first sleeve (2) having a greater capacity for deformation than the first sleeve (2) and fixed and sealed to the first sleeve (2) at both ends,at least two cylindrical rings (4, 5) coaxial with the second sleeve (3), pressed against the latter and each fixed by one edge to one end of the second sleeve (3), andmeans (6, 6') for injecting a pressurized fluid between the first sleeve (2) and the second sleeve (3).

  • Patent number: 5008996
Abstract: A machine for remotely lining the inside of a heat exchanger tube end (13) received in a tube plate (14). The machine includes a flexible tube (15) connecting a push-pull device to a motorized unit (16) for driving tools used for fixing the sleeve in the heat exchanger tube. The machine also includes a tool loader (25, 26) at the head of a cable (20) which is driven by the push-pull device and means for applying the end of the flexible tube to the end of any of the heat exchanger tubes which may need lining. The motorized unit (16) includes two superposed fluted hubs (30, 33) one of which is driven by a low speed electric motor while the other is driven by a high-speed pneumatic motor.
