Abstract: A medical device for applying pressure to a joint segment of a human body, a corresponding system and associated uses. The device includes at least three bearing units intended to be attached to a holder. Each bearing unit has: an extendable arm; a force-measuring element attached to the extendable arm; a movement-measuring element; a bearing element which is attached to the distal portion of the extendable arm, is adapted to be in contact with a part of the human body and makes it possible to apply the force measured by the force-measuring element to the part of the human body; and an attachment element adapted to attach the bearing unit to the support.

Abstract: An leaf stripping apparatus for stripping vines has a stripping head with a grid-type rotating suction drum rotatably mounted about a generally vertical axis, a suction cooperative with the stripping head for generating an air flow through the perforated cylindrical side wall of the suction drum, a channeling structure formed on the stripping head for channeling the air flow through the changing portion of the side of the suction drum, and a cutter affixed to the stripping head adjacent the changing portion of the side wall. The cutter is arranged generally parallel to the vertical axis of rotation of the rotating suction drum. The drum is suitable for positioning directly against the vine during movement of the stripping head therealong.

Abstract: A leaf stripper, more particularly for stripping vine leaves, includes a stripping head having an open-work rotary drum, a suction mechanism for generating a sucking air stream passing through the open-work cylindrical side wall of the drum, and mechanism for channeling the air stream through a portion modifying the wall. The invention is characterized in that a cutter is mounted proximate to the side wall portion of the rotary suction drum and oriented parallel or substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the latter, a guide track including an open-work endless belt winding on the rotary suction drum and on a second drum arranged in front of the suction drum.

Abstract: An apparatus for printing any documents and making them unfalsifiable and comprising a casing fitted on the body of a printer at its part receiving the discharged and printed documents and which contains means for heating one side of the printed document for the impregnation and the transfer of the printing ink throughout the thickness of the document so as to make appear on the other side thereof an exact replica with inverted writing of the printings previously made on the document such as a bank document, cheque letter or transfer order.
