  • Patent number: 10955968
Abstract: A input system (100), controlling an electromedical device (105), includes a network (110), an input unit (120) and a control unit (140). The input unit has a touch display (122) and detects an input area (125) and outputs an input signal (126) to the network via an input interface (128), if a comparison between the input area and a displayed control menu (130) makes possible an assignment, between the input area and the control command, if the input area is located within a command area (132) on the touch display, and if the control command is contained in a group of currently executable control commands. The control unit receives the input signal and outputs a control signal (142), based on the input signal, to the electromedical device for actuating the corresponding application and sends a confirmation signal (144) to the input unit after the output of the control signal.

  • Publication number: 20200387336
Abstract: A display system (100) displays an output of an electromedical device (105). A display unit (110) displays a visual output (114) based on a received display signal (112). A display signal unit (120) receives electromedical device data (107), assigns these data to a visualization type, dynamically determines a display type depending on the visualization types to be displayed and generates the display signal based on the data and the determined display type and outputs to the display unit. A display signal monitoring unit (130) is signal connected to the display unit and the display signal unit and receives the display signal and a display unit output signal (118). The display signal contains information on the visual output carried out. The display signal monitoring unit compares the display signal and the output signal and outputs a warning signal (134) in case of a lack of agreement.

  • Patent number: 10444156
Abstract: A method for in situ determination of surface characteristics of conductive targets includes generating a low-pressure plasma in front of a surface of a target, applying a voltage to the surface of the target, orientating at least one light-sensitive detector at an angle ? relative to a perpendicular to the surface of the target, and measuring an intensity of light emitted by electrically neutral atoms generated by conversion from ions which are accelerated out of the low-pressure plasma by the applied voltage toward the surface of the target and subsequently reflected thereon, and which thus exchange suitable charges with the surface to reach electrical neutrality. The method additionally includes determining a value curve comprising wavelengths and an intensity associated with each wavelength, of the light which, as a result of Doppler shifts, has a red-shifted wavelength range and a blue-shifted range.

  • Publication number: 20190064075
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a device for the in situ determination of the surface characteristics of conductive targets. The method according to the invention makes it possible to measure the energy distribution and angle distribution of the hydrogen or deuterium atoms scattered at a metal surface. From the Doppler shift of the blue- and red-shifted components of the induced Balmer lines, the spectral or specular reflectivity of the surface can be directly measured. Furthermore, the mass of the atoms at the surface of the target can be determined.

  • Publication number: 20120220892
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to vibrometers, vibrometric systems, and methods of using the same. In particular, some embodiments of the vibrometers are capable of producing vibrotactile stimulation at any frequency between 1 and 500 Hz. Moreover, some embodiments of the vibrometer and/or vibrometric system are capable of applying vibrotactile stimulation to a test subject's skin to determine the existence of peripheral neuropathy. Additionally, some embodiments of the method can provide test subjects with comparative vibrotactile threshold test results that can aid in discovering and/or managing of peripheral neuropathy.

  • Patent number: 5732646
Abstract: A boat hull cleaning system, particularly for sail and motor yachts, prevents the contamination of sewers and open waters by recirculating the cleaning water within the system without discharging it therefrom. The system includes a trailerable container, of a size up to the size of conventional, large ocean-going shipping containers, which is fitted with a catch basin having side and end walls that extend upwardly thereon. Hinges between the basin and the walls permit the latter to be folded downwardly into a position in which the walls are downwardly inclined towards the basin. Corner plates connect the adjacent edges of the side and end walls and with the latter form a water drain surface which directs used, contaminated water into the basin. The basin is covered with a water permeable, metal mesh floor which carries supports for holding the boat hull during cleaning.
