  • Publication number: 20240080430
Abstract: The invention relates to a system (10) for imaging a body (11) of a person. The system (1) comprises a sensor unit (12) configured to capture first imaging data of the body, wherein the sensor unit (12) comprises an optical camera and/or an infrared camera and/or an acoustic imaging sensor; an electromagnetic, EM, wave scanner (14) configured to capture second imaging data of the body, wherein the EM wave scanner comprises a plurality of antennas (15) which are configured to transmit EM radiation in a mm and/or cm range towards the body (11), and to receive a reflection of said EM radiation from the body (11); and a processing unit (16) which is configured to process the first imaging data and the second imaging data and to generate a three-dimensional image (33) of the body (11) based on said processing.

  • Publication number: 20220316800
Abstract: An apparatus for thermal treatment of mineral materials may include a first combustion chamber, a second combustion chamber, and a reactor for the thermal treatment of mineral materials. The first combustion chamber is configured for burning a first fuel fed by a first fuel feed device, and the first combustion chamber and the second combustion chamber are connected via a first conduit for transferring hot gases from the first combustion chamber into the second combustion chamber. The second combustion chamber is configured for burning a second fuel that is different than the first fuel and is fed by a second fuel feed device. The second combustion chamber and the reactor are connected via a second conduit for transferring hot gases from the second combustion chamber into the reactor. The reactor has a third feed conduit for introducing a third fuel.

  • Publication number: 20210372700
Abstract: A bypass system may be utilized in installations and methods for producing cement clinker. A portion of a kiln offgas produced in a kiln may be branched off as bypass gas via a bypass line connected between the kiln and a calciner. In some cases 3 to 15% of the kiln offgas is branched off as the bypass gas. The bypass gas may be cooled to a temperature in a range from 300 to 550° C. and dedusted in a temperature range from 300 to 550° C. The dedusted bypass gas may then be recirculated to the calciner and/or into a tertiary air line arranged between the cooler and the calciner and/or into a region between the kiln and the calciner.

  • Patent number: 9546608
Abstract: In a method for cylinder equalization of a lambda-controlled internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, cylinders to be tested are trimmed with respect to the mixture composition of metered fuel, and the cylinder equalization is carried out on the basis of an uneven running or uneven running change of the internal combustion engine caused by the trimming. In addition, the uneven running or uneven running change is detected in a reference state of the internal combustion engine. The uneven runnings or uneven running changes detected during successive trimmings of the cylinders to be tested are and compared to the uneven running values detected in the reference state.
