Abstract: A window opening control device having first and second restrictor arms, each one being pivotally securable to a respective one of a window frame and a window sash and having a connector. The connector of the first restrictor arm being couplable with the connector of the second restrictor arm in a pivotable connector connexion. The first and second restrictor arms are configurable in a compacted configuration in which they are superposed to one another, and an extended configuration in which their connectors are coupled together to limit a pivotal travel of the window sash with respect to the window frame. The opening control device further includes a release mechanism actionable to disengage the first and the second connectors. In a closed configuration of the window sash with respect to the window frame, the first and second restrictor arms are configured in the compacted configuration and are automatically coupled together.

Abstract: An operator for a window comprising a base designed to be secured to a window sash, an arm having first and second ends with the first end being secured to the base and a first end of the arm having a worm wheel formed thereon, a shaft having a worm operatively connected to the worm wheel, a handle secured to the shaft, a locking mechanism comprising a multipoint tie bar, and an actuator connected to a rack and pinion gear arrangement to move the multipoint tie bar between open and locked positions. The arrangement provides for a compact efficient design which includes a locking mechanism and an opening mechanism located at the same point.

Abstract: An operator for a window comprising a base and a cover, the base being attached to a window sash with an aperture extending through the base, an arm having first and second ends with a first end secured to the base, the first end of the arm having an aperture therein overlying the aperture in the base and an upper securement member extending at least partially through the aperture in the first end of the arm, the upper securement member having a threaded recess therein, a lower securement member screwthreadedly engaged with the upper securement member and extending through the base in an abutting relationship thereto, the cover engaging with the upper securement member to prevent rotation thereof when the lower securement member is screwthreadedly engaged with the upper securement member.

The adaptor can be used with conventional cam roller windows and provides an improved surface engagement and a greater displacement span.
