Patent number: 11958668Abstract: An insulated cooler having an insulated bottom, an insulated peripheral wall, and an insulated lid is disclosed. The peripheral wall may extend up from the bottom to define an interior space of the cooler. The lid, pivotally attached to the peripheral wall, may be pivotable to a closed position engaging the peripheral wall to close the interior space. A vent passage may extend through the peripheral wall or the lid, communicating the interior space with an exterior of the cooler to prevent formation of a vacuum in the cooler. A retaining frame may be attached to the peripheral wall or the lid at a location on the peripheral wall or the lid corresponding to a location of the vent passage. An air-impermeable, water-impermeable material layer may block the vent passage. The material layer may be positioned between the retaining frame and the interior space of the cooler.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2022Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Tractor Supply Co. of Texas, LPInventors: Christian D. Fogg, Spencer Carpenter, Wei Hui

Publication number: 20230175673Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of manufacturing a tamper proof light emitting module comprising the steps of (a) pre-assembling the light emitting module into a testing configuration including a housing and one or more light emitting elements mounted within the housing, the housing including first and second housing components connected together using at least one removable fastener connecting the first and second housing components; (b) testing the light emitting module to confirm the light emitting elements are operable; (c) after step (b), removing the removable fastener; (d) replacing the removable fastener removed in step (c) with at least one breakaway fastener; and (e) tightening the breakaway fastener(s) until the head of the breakaway fastener(s) breaks off so that the breakaway fastener(s) is no longer removable, thereby creating a final, tamper proof configuration of the light emitting module.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 2, 2021Publication date: June 8, 2023Inventors: Brian Kennemer, Christian D. Patent number: 10267478Abstract: A light bar assembly may include a light bar housing having a bar length. The light bar housing may include a plurality of fins projecting from the light bar housing. The light bar housing may further include a plurality of fin gaps. Each fin gap may be disposed between adjacent respective fins. Each fin gap may also have a gap length running longitudinally along a majority of the bar length of the light bar housing. The light bar assembly may also include a wind shield disposed on the light bar housing. The wind shield may cover some, but not all, of the fin gaps along a majority of each respective gap length.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 2017Date of Patent: April 23, 2019Assignee: Tractor Supply CompanyInventors: Christian D. Publication number: 20180208104Abstract: A lighting apparatus for mounting on a vehicle cab includes a frame having a straight central portion and first and second curved end portions. A plurality of spot light sources may be mounted on the straight central portion and aligned parallel to each other to provide a deeply penetrating uniform wide central path of illumination. A plurality of diffuse light sources may be mounted on each of the curved end portions to provide less penetrating but more widely dispersed paths of illumination to each side of the central path of illumination.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 20, 2017Publication date: July 26, 2018Inventors: Brian Kennemer, Christian D. Fogg, Ty Rager, Adam Prater
