  • Patent number: 9511754
Abstract: The invention is a hydraulic fluid pump of a vehicle brake system, which has a delivery device for delivering hydraulic fluid against a hydraulic counter-pressure prevailing in a section of the vehicle brake system. The hydraulic fluid pump further has a mechanism for modifying the volume delivered by the delivery device in accordance with the level of the hydraulic counter-pressure.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 12, 2008
Date of Patent: December 6, 2016
    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH
    Inventor: Christian Doberschuetz
  • Patent number: 8764127
Abstract: In a method for carrying out an emergency braking procedure in a vehicle, at least one electric actuator in the braking system is automatically actuated to generate an increased brake force in the case of an emergency situation. A maximum voltage, which exceeds the rated voltage of the actuator, is applied to the electric actuator.

  • Publication number: 20080298982
Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-piston pump comprising a housing, a first pump unit having a plurality of piston pumps for the pressure supply of a first pressure circuit, a second pump unit having a plurality of piston pumps for the pressure supply of a second pressure circuit, a drive and an eccentric unit having a first eccentric and a second eccentric, wherein the first and the second eccentrics drive the plurality of piston pumps, and wherein the first and second pump units comprise in each case at least one piston pump which can be driven by the first eccentric and one piston pump which can be driven by the second eccentric. In that in each case, one piston pump which is driven by the first eccentric is arranged parallel to a piston pump which is driven by the second eccentric.

  • Publication number: 20080284239
Abstract: The invention relates to a brake system for a vehicle having at least one brake circuit which includes at least one wheel brake, one inlet valve, one outlet valve, and one return device. The return device has at least one first pump device and one second pump device, having respective inlet valves and outlet valves. The pump devices have a delivery cycle offset from each other. An additional valve is located in every supply line of every pump device for preventing negative pressure produced in an intake phase of one of the pump devices from being applied to an inlet valve of another pump device.
