  • Patent number: 12195123
Abstract: A screw connection is formed between steering components, namely a push rod and a fork, in particular of a rear axle steering system. By means of a screw screwed coaxially into one of the two steering components and inserted through an opening in the other steering component, an annular disc-shaped end face of the one steering component is pressed against a likewise annular disc-shaped face of the other steering component. Furthermore, cylindrical mating faces contacting one another are formed by the steering components. In at least one of the two steering components, a transition region is formed between the annular disc-shaped face and the cylindrical mating face, which has at least two different radii of curvature.

  • Publication number: 20230339536
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for steering a vehicle via a rear axle steering system that includes an actuator having a steering linkage at least indirectly operable by a threaded drive and longitudinally displaceable within a chassis-fixed housing. The actuator includes a rotor position sensor for detecting a rotor position of a rotor of an electric motor designed for actuating the threaded drive and a linear sensor for detecting an axial position of a target arranged on the steering linkage. The two sensors are connected to a control and analysis unit configured to carry out a comparison between the rotor position and the axial position of the target when there is a defined zero point of an axial position of the steering linkage relative to the housing and, in consideration of a thermal expansion of at least the steering linkage, operating the actuator to adjust the steering angle.

  • Publication number: 20230331293
Abstract: An actuator of a steering system of a motor vehicle, having a connecting rod which is longitudinally movable in a housing along an actuating path between axial stops and which penetrates the housing and is connectable at one end to a toe link for the articulation of wheels, the stops of which are arranged axially one behind the other and face each other axially. The stops and a stopper interacting with the two stops are located inside the housing.

  • Publication number: 20210215245
Abstract: A two-stage actuating gear mechanism comprises a spur gear transmission as the first transmission stage and a harmonic drive as the second transmission stage. A spur gear transmission gear with inward facing teeth is designed simultaneously as a component of a harmonic generator of the harmonic drive. A gear with outward facing teeth that meshes with the gear with inward facing teeth is rigidly connected to a rotor of an electric motor, the motor housing of which is secured to the transmission housing of the harmonic drive. The motor housing is positioned relative to the transmission housing by means of a centering device which is eccentric to the rotational axis (AE) of the rotor. An adjustable backlash between the gear with outward facing teeth and the gear with inward facing teeth is provided by a pivoting capability between the motor housing and the transmission housing.

  • Publication number: 20140291563
Abstract: An actuating device for a control body of a valve includes an armature guide configured to receive a magnetic armature and an armature plunger in such a manner that the magnetic armature and armature plunger can move in relation to a longitudinal direction. An outer thread is located on a longitudinal end of the armature guide that is remote from the armature plunger. The outer thread includes a first cross-sectional profile forming a thread tip that points towards an exterior. A holding nut having an inner thread is screwed onto the outer thread of the armature guide and lies at least indirectly on the synthetic material casing of the electrical coil. The inner thread includes a second cross-sectional profile that is complementary to the first cross-sectional profile, and a thread base configured in a clamping region in a gap free manner with respect to the first cross-sectional profile.
