  • Patent number: 6024947
Abstract: The invention relates to cosmetic compositions of improved rinsability, comprising an oily phase and a citric acid ester corresponding to formula (I): ##STR1## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, which may be identical or different, represent a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal or alkaline-earth metal, an ammonium cation or a cation of an organic base or a group of formula (II):--(C.sub.n H.sub.2n --O).sub.m --R.sub.4 (II)with n=2, 3 or 4m=5-30and R.sub.4 represents a saturated, linear or branched C.sub.8 -C.sub.24 alkyl group, at least one of R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 being a group of formula (II). These compositions are used in particular for cleansing and/or removing make-up from the skin.

  • Patent number: 5866111
Abstract: The invention relates to new cosmetic compositions, in particular mascaras, based on at least one film-forming polyester polymer and sugar esters. These mascaras have properties of eyelash elongation, of eyelash curving, of adhesion to the eyelash and of tolerance by the eyelash which are improved in comparison with the mascaras existing on the market.

  • Patent number: 5679361
Abstract: A solid or pasty extruded homogeneous make-up composition containing a fatty phase and a pulverulent phase. The fatty phase is 20-70% by weight of the total weight of the composition. The pulverulent phase is a light powder having a specific gravity not exceeding 0.07, and can be silica powder or hollow microspheres made of thermoplastic material. The light powder is 5-30% by weight of the total weight of the composition. The weight ratio of the total pulverulent phase to the light powder is between 5 and 16.
