  • Patent number: 10815973
Abstract: Method for retrofitting a lightning protection device of a rotor blade of a wind turbine. In the method, a cable section of a lightning protection cable is stripped of insulation. A connection piece and a lightning protection receptor are fitted to the cable section which is stripped of insulation, so that the lightning protection receptor is electrically coupled to the lightning protection cable. The invention also relates to a rotor blade which is retrofitted using the method. The risk of lightning strikes in specific regions of a rotor blade can be reduced by the invention by means of the retrofitting operation.

  • Patent number: 10648451
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a rotor blade of a wind power plant which has an area close to the blade root in which the rotor blade has an obtuse rear edge. The method includes manufacturing a half-shell on the pressure side and a half-shell on the suction side, introducing and adhesively bonding filler bodies into at least one section of the area of the obtuse rear edge of the pressure-side half-shell and the suction-side half-shell, wherein the sections with the filler bodies lie opposite one another in the assembled rotor blade, assembling and positioning the half-shells relative to one another, wherein an adhesive gap which is delimited by the first adhesive surfaces of the filler bodies remains between the filler bodies, and introducing an adhesive medium into the adhesive gap. Also a rotor blade manufactured according to the method, and a wind power plant including such a rotor blade.

  • Publication number: 20150322791
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for repairing a vortex generator (6) which projects from an outer skin (4) of a rotor blade, the vortex generator tip (65) of which is broken off and leaves behind a vortex generator stub (66) on the rotor blade outer skin (4), by the vortex generator stub (66) being ground down and a vortex generator crown (50) being fitted onto the ground-down vortex generator stub (66a).
