  • Publication number: 20230406311
Abstract: A method is provided for operating a motor vehicle including a first driven axle, with which a first electric drive unit and a first brake mechanism are associated, and a second driven axle, with which a second electric drive unit and a second brake mechanism are associated, in a hill hold operating mode, in which the brake mechanisms are configured to brake the two axles with a predetermined brake torque distribution. According to the method, a hill hold requirement for the motor vehicle is identified and a compensation torque distribution to the two axles, provided in relation to the hill hold requirement, in accordance with the predetermined brake torque distribution is determined. The compensation torque is applied in accordance with the compensation torque distribution, and the compensation torque applied by the respectively associated drive unit is replaced with compensation torque applied by the brake mechanism of the respective axle.

  • Patent number: 10703358
Abstract: A method for the quality assurance of exhaust gas behavior in a motor vehicle, particularly in a hybrid vehicle, includes monitoring an on-board-diagnosis function; providing a journey counter a diagnosis counter, and a nominal diagnosis frequency value; incrementing the journey counter following the beginning of a driving cycle; generating an actual diagnosis frequency value using a combination of the diagnosis counter and the drive counter; and establishing a difference between the nominal diagnosis frequency value and the actual diagnosis frequency value. If the difference falls short of a threshold: a control method is selected, which is designed to successfully complete a currently running OBD of the OBD function and to initiate and complete a non-running OBD. Following the completion of the OBD of the OBD function, the diagnosis counter is incremented and the motor control restored to an original motor control.

  • Patent number: 7225773
Abstract: A variable stroke valve drive for an internal combustion engine, including an intermediate lever which is slidingly arranged on a crank path of a crank arm the intermediate lever has a working cam with null lifting cam and lifting cam portions. The working cam contacts a gas exchange valve via an intermediate element. A first adjustment element rotates the intermediate lever against a spring element around a point located near the crank, the intermediate lever being displaceable along the crank path by a second adjustment element. The first adjustment element is provided with a cam plate whose radius continuously increases or reduces on a circumference with respect to an axis of rotation. The inventive variable stroke valve drive substantially reduces wear in a valve drive.
