  • Patent number: 11339479
Abstract: In a component made of press-form-hardened, aluminium-based coated steel sheet, the coating has a covering which contains aluminum and silicon applied in the hot-dip process. The press-form-hardened component in the transition region between steel sheet and covering has an inter-diffusion zone I, wherein, depending on the layer application of the covering before heating and press hardening, the thickness of the inter-diffusion zone I obeys the following formula: I [?m]<(1/35)×application on both sides [g/m2]+(19/7). Formed on the inter-diffusion zone I is a zone having various intermetallic phases having an average total thickness between 8 and 50 ?m, on which zone there is in turn arranged a covering layer containing aluminum oxide and/or hydroxide having an average thickness of at least 0.05 ?m to at most 5 ?m.

  • Patent number: 9531791
Abstract: A system, a method and a computer program product for monitoring a screen configuration process for a sequence of medical images on a remote client are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, a central server includes a rendering module and a marker generator in order to mark the sequence of images to be displayed as a DESIRED sequence of images and transfer it to the remote client. In addition to a remote-client application, an observer module and a warning signal transmitter are provided on the remote client. The observer module is used to compare the DESIRED sequence of images with the ACTUAL sequence of images. In the event of a lack of conformity, the warning signal transmitter issues a warning signal on the remote-client monitor.

  • Publication number: 20120305139
Abstract: In a method for coating steel strips having a base material composition (in weight-%) of: C 0.04-1.0; Mn 9.0-30.0; Al 0.05-15.0; Si 0.05-6.0; Cr?6.5; Cu?4; Ti+Zr?0.7; Nb+V?0.5, remainder iron including unavoidable steel-incidental elements, the steel strip undergoes annealing and subsequently is coated electrolytically with a coat formed from zinc or a zinc-containing alloy. During the course of annealing of the steel strip at temperatures between 800 and 1000° C. under a N2-H2 containing atmosphere, a surface-near zone is formed which is enriched with nitrides through reaction with elements contained in the steel, thereby preventing molten zinc from penetrating into the base material during welding of the coated steel strip.

  • Patent number: 6626699
Abstract: A plug-in connector for establishing an electrical connection between two regions separated by a wall having a mounting hole includes a connector part having electrical contacts and located on one side of the wall. A guide bushing is located on the other side of the wall. The lower end of the guide bushing passes through the mounting hole to bear the plug contacts. The connector part and the guide bushing connect when the guide bushing is rotated with respect to the connector part such that connector part and the guide bushing are aligned longitudinally. The connector part is held on the wall such that the connector part is aligned with the mounting hole and is movable along the longitudinal axis of the guide bushing. A stop limits the movement of the connector part away from the guide bushing which is affixed on the wall opposite the connector part.

  • Patent number: 6523399
Abstract: A control unit has a control circuit and a pressure sensor connected to the control circuit. The pressure sensor measures the hydraulic pressure in a transmission or the induction-pipe vacuum of an engine. A common housing has a metallic base plate, into which a metallic support plate for the pressure sensor is fitted. The support plate has a borehole through which the pressure sensor is subjected to pressure. A metallic ring is secured on the support plate. A glass cylinder is secured on the support plate, and the pressure sensor, which is configured as a silicon chip, is secured on the glass cylinder.

  • Patent number: 6494088
Abstract: The control device has a control circuit and a pressure sensor for measuring the hydraulic pressure in the gearbox. The control circuit and the pressure sensor are accommodated in a common housing. The housing has a metallic baseplate which is connected in a pressure tight fashion to a hydraulic unit of the gearbox and is provided with a bore hole through which pressure is applied to the pressure sensor. A carrier for the pressure sensor has a cylinder-like projection which is pressed into the bore hole in such a way that a pressure tight and frictionally locking connection is produced between the carrier and the baseplate as a result of the displacement of material. The pressure sensor can also be used to measure the intake vacuum of an engine.
