  • Patent number: 11718203
Abstract: A system reduces motion sickness symptoms in operation of a vehicle. The system has a control unit which is coupled to a sensor system and/or to a navigation system, to a vehicle seat system, to a vehicle stabilization device and to a display unit for receiving and/or emitting signals. The sensor system and the navigation system are set up to receive environmental data and/or vehicle component data relating to the vehicle, from which movements of the vehicle result, and to transfer the data to the control unit. The control unit is set up to generate vehicle stabilization signals, seat adjustment signals and display signals on the basis of the received environmental data and/or vehicle component data.

  • Publication number: 20210063413
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining the potency of DCs, comprising the steps: stimulating dendritic cells by incubation with soluble CD40L and TLR7/8 agonist, measuring the secretion of the marker proteins IL-10 and IL-12 from the stimulated dendritic cells. Thereby it can be determined whether the dendritic cell have a high capability to activate T-cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells. The invention also encompasses a method for stimulating dendritic cells comprising the step of stimulating the dendritic cells with soluble CD40L and TLR7/8 agonist.

  • Publication number: 20130008849
Abstract: A device for folding a web-shaped filter medium of a filter element has an energy-introducing embossment unit and a feed device that feeds a web-shaped filter medium to the embossing unit where folding lines are embossed into the web-shaped filter medium. A folding device is provided that folds the web-shaped filter medium along the folding lines. The energy-introducing embossment unit is provided to fuse layers of the multi-layer filter medium along the folding lines during embossment of the folding lines.

  • Patent number: 6643976
Abstract: A pressure sensor device is described that has a diaphragm acted upon by a working medium, on a first side, and a sensor chip, which is disposed on a second side of the diaphragm that is remote from the working medium. There is formed in the sensor chip a measuring bridge having four sensor elements, which form two pairs disposed parallel, and the pairs are disposed at right angles to one another. The sensor elements are disposed such that they are closely spaced apart from one another in the edge region of the sensor chip that faces toward the central point of the diaphragm.
