  • Patent number: 10443589
Abstract: A device for dosing a fill product into a container is described. The device includes a dosing unit with a dosing cylinder, a dosing piston displaceably disposed in the dosing cylinder between an upper center and a lower center of the dosing cylinder, and an intake valve with a valve seat for sucking the fill product from a rotatable product reservoir. The valve seat is disposed above a level formed by a base of the dosing piston at the lower center.

Date of Patent: October 15, 2019
    Assignee: KRONES AG
Inventors: Christian Goldbrunner, Florian Engelsberger, Manfred Faltermeier, Stefan Koller, Thomas Schuhbeck
  • Patent number: 10427811
Abstract: A device for filling a container with a fill product, for example a fill product that is viscous and contains particles, is described. The device includes a fill product reservoir for accommodating the fill product that is to be filled, a dosing cylinder within which a dosing piston is displaceably accommodated for dosing the fill product, and a discharge channel with an outlet end for discharging the fill product into the container that is to be filled. The discharge plunger is disposed in the discharge channel for expelling a product residue at the end of the filling process, and the fill product reservoir, the dosing cylinder, and the discharge channel are in communication with each other via a common product channel. A valve for opening and closing the connection between the fill product reservoir and the product channel is disposed in the base of the fill product reservoir.

  • Patent number: 8434529
Abstract: A filling device for beverage bottles, having a filling valve by way of which different media, including a product to be bottled, can be supplied and/or discharged, and a return gas pipe that is displaceable in linear fashion relative to the filling valve by means of an electromagnetic positioning drive. The positioning drive is a linear motor having a stationary stator housing and a rotor coupled to the return gas pipe.

  • Patent number: 8312901
Abstract: An open-jet filling system, a method of filling containers by means of such an open-jet filling system used for contactless filling a container, and a corresponding filling machine, with the open-jet filling system provided with a filling level probe. For always obtaining the same filling height in the containers and for simultaneously realizing hygienic filling, a centering unit is arranged below the open-jet filling element in a vertically movable manner such that it can be moved onto a container mouth, the filling level probe being arranged on the centering unit.
