  • Publication number: 20230003281
Abstract: The invention relates to a drive belt (1) having a main body into which one or more tension strands (3) composed of para-aramid in cord construction are embedded, wherein each tension strand (3) has twisted plies each formed from at least one twisted yarn, and wherein the turning direction of the respective ply (first twist) is the opposite of the turning direction of the cord (final twist). It is a feature of the invention that the tension strands (3) each have at least four plies, wherein the twist factor TM1 of the plies (first twist) is between 4.5 and 5.4, and the twist factor TM2 of the cord (final twist) is between 2.7 and 3.8, and the ratio of the twist factor of the plies to the twist factor of the cord (TM1/TM2) is between 1.3 and 1.5.

  • Patent number: 7487808
Abstract: A coupling seal includes a first sealing strip containing first and second bearing elements on opposing ends of a rabbet body and a second sealing strip containing first and second bearing elements on opposing ends of a rabbet body. Interior sides of the rabbet bodies seal against one another, at least in sections, such that the first bearing element of the first sealing strip is arranged adjacent to the second bearing element of the second sealing strip and the second bearing element of the first sealing strip is arranged adjacent to the first bearing element of the second sealing strip. A first flexible element extends between first and second fixing devices of the first sealing strip, and a second flexible element extends between first and second fixing devices of the second sealing strip. The first and second flexible elements, when installed, may have a pre-stress.

  • Patent number: 5675205
Abstract: A module for an electronic circuit of chip or hybrid design, combined with a brush holder for generators in motor vehicles has connecting lines embedded between the electronic circuit, the carbon brushes and a plug-in terminal in a housing component made of insulating material. The circuit which is bonded or soldered to a bearing plate is surrounded, for the purpose of making contact with the contacting lines by a collar of the housing component which is closed by a lid. For good dissipation of heat and cost effective manufacture of this module, the bearing plate with the circuit is to be attached directly to the generator housing and the brush holder with its contact components for the brush terminals is also to be formed on in one piece to the housing component.
