  • Patent number: 10336324
Abstract: Based on the assumption that a preceding vehicle does not brake to a halt, but only reduces its speed for a certain time, an improved TTC (Time To Collision) can be calculated. By means of the difference between the TTC with braking to a halt and the improved TTC, a probability for the occurrence of a hypothesis concerning the further behavior of the preceding vehicle can be reduced.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 13, 2016
Date of Patent: July 2, 2019
    Assignee: Conti Temic Microelectronic GmbH

  • Patent number: 9215878
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and device for continuous production of articles including at least two different types from a pasty mass. The mass is introduced into a processor unit by a supply unit, processed in the processor unit and transported further thereby, whereupon an adjunct is added by a metering unit to the mass transported through the processor unit. The mixing of the adjunct introduced to the mass is carried out by a mixing unit with mixing elements located downstream of the processor unit. The mass with provided adjunct is formed by a forming unit into individual articles downstream of the mixing unit. According to the invention, the metering of the adjunct is carried out in a sequence of metering conditions with at least two different metering conditions, wherein the metering unit, for a given metering condition, introduces the adjunct to the mass at a given metering rate.

  • Patent number: 9177212
Abstract: A method combines a road sign recognition system and a lane detection system of a motor vehicle. The road sign recognition system generates road sign information from sensor data of a camera-based or video-based sensor system and the lane detection system generates lane course information from the sensor data. Meaning-indicating data for road signs are generated from the lane course information, and are used to check the plausibility of and/or to interpret the road sign information. Data indicating the course of the lane are generated from the road sign information, and are used to check the plausibility of and/or to interpret the lane course information.

  • Publication number: 20130101174
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for combining a road sign recognition system (1) and a lane detection system (2) of a motor vehicle, wherein the road sign recognition system (1) generates road sign information from sensor data of a camera-based or video-based sensor system (4) and the lane detection system (2) generates lane course information from said sensor data; according to the invention, meaning-indicating data for road signs are generated from the lane course information, the meaning-indicating data for road signs are used to check the plausibility of and/or to interpret the road sign information, data indicating the course of the lane are generated from the road sign information, and the data indicating the course of the lane are used to check the plausibility of and/or to interpret the lane course information.

  • Patent number: 8363211
Abstract: A sensor device for detecting a motion state of a motor vehicle. The sensor device includes at least one laser unit having a light source for emitting coherent light which is transmitted in the direction of a roadway surface, and an interference detector which is designed to detect at least one measurement variable which characterizes interference between the light scattered at the surface and the light of the light source. The measurement variable represents a speed component of the sensor device and/or a distance between the sensor device and the roadway surface. The laser unit is coupled to an evaluation device which is designed to determine, from the measurement variable, at least one variable which characterizes the motion state of the vehicle, in particular a speed component of the center of gravity of the vehicle, a rotational angle or a rotation rate of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20090035430
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for continuous production of a number of articles including at least two different types of articles from a pasty mass. The mass is introduced into a processor unit (4) by means of a supply unit (2), processed in the processor unit and transported further thereby, whereupon an adjunct is added by a metering unit (10) to the mass transported through the processor unit (4). The mixing of the adjunct introduced to the mass is carried out by a mixing unit (6) with mixing elements located downstream of the processor unit (4). The mass with provided adjunct is formed by a forming unit (S) into individual articles downstream of the mixing unit. According to the invention, the metering of the adjunct is carried out in a sequence of metering conditions with at least two different metering conditions, wherein the metering unit (10), for a given metering condition, introduces the adjunct to the mass at a given metering rate.
