  • Patent number: 11518277
Abstract: Body measurements of a person may be scanned using a camera (e.g., a camera on a mobile phone. Vehicle settings may then be determined based on the body measurements. Example vehicle settings may include one or more of a position of a heads-up display, a position of a pedal, an angle of a backrest, a height of a seat cushion, a tilt of the seat cushion, an extension position of the seat cushion, a position of a lumbar support, a position of a seat side bolster, a position of a headrest, a position of a side mirror, a position of a rear-view mirror, a tilt of a steering wheel, and/or a position of a steering wheel.

  • Patent number: 10351139
Abstract: A system and method for planning activities for a driver of a vehicle, where a scheduled route is planned for the vehicle, include an assignment unit configured for assigning a pilot assisted driving mode to a first part of the scheduled route and assigning an autonomous driving mode a second part of the scheduled route, the assignment of the driving mode determined based on a first parameter. An interface is configured for indicating the first and second parts of the scheduled route to the driver, and a proposal unit is configured for, upon execution of the assigned driving mode in the vehicle, proposing a first activity to the driver for the first part of the scheduled route and a second activity for the second part of the scheduled route, the proposal of an activity determined based a second parameter.

  • Patent number: 10239524
Abstract: A lane shift indicating system for indicating a potential lane shift of a vehicle supporting at least partly automated steering and vehicle speed control, when the vehicle is travelling along a first driving lane of a road having a second driving lane separated from the first driving lane by one or more lane markings. The lane shift indicating system determines a driving environment of the vehicle at an initial vehicle position, and determines that the driving environment indicates that the vehicle is in a driving situation where a lane shift from the first driving lane to the second driving lane is considered appropriate, and adjusts the steering prior to a potential automated vehicle speed adjustment pertinent the determined driving situation, such that the vehicle continues its travel laterally closer to the one or more lane markings along the first driving lane, as compared to the initial vehicle position.

  • Patent number: 9919716
Abstract: An arrangement for facilitating handover to and from an automated autonomous driving aid system of a vehicle comprises a lane marking detecting unit, a steering control driving aid system for performing steering in response to detected lane markings, a positioning system for determining a current position and a current heading direction, an alert signal arrangement for selectively providing an alert signal, and a communication arrangement for communicating with a database comprising data indicative of an incapability of performing automated steering at a portion of a road ahead. The communication arrangement is configured to receive the data from the database and configured to provide an alert signal in case the data indicates an incapability of performing an automated steering at an upcoming road portion.
