  • Patent number: 10358692
Abstract: A hydrometallurgical process is provided for the selective extraction of one or more target metals from ore, concentrates, tailings, slags or other metal bearing solids, by combining simultaneously leaching with sorption in the state of wet solids. The sorption and leaching are performed simultaneously, which reduces the required number of process stages in comparison to conventional technologies. Performing the sorption leaching in wet solids enables a significant increase in the concentration of leaching agents in relation to target metal(s) content in solids, at the same addition rate of said leaching agents, improving thermodynamic conditions and leaching kinetics for dissolving target metal(s). The invention has the main advantage of improving metal recoveries at a reduced consumption rate of leaching agents.

  • Patent number: 8663380
Abstract: A flame spray pyrolysis process for the preparation of ultrafine titania particles coated with a smooth, homogeneous coating of one or more metal oxides is provided. The metal oxide coating is achieved by contacting the titania particles with a metal oxide precursor downstream of the titania formation zone, after the titania particles have formed. The process provides titania particles with a high rutile content and a smooth and homogeneous coating of a metal oxide.

  • Patent number: 8430183
Abstract: An auxiliary handle for a motor-driven hand tool has a mounting device which forms an upper region and provides a force-transmitting and/or form-locking connection to a hand tool; a handle forming a lower region, a damping element forming an intermediate region and located at least locally between the mounting device and the handle, the damping element having a damping material with which, during an operation of a hand tool, it dampens vibration transmitted through the mounting device to the handle, the damping element in its damping region acting for damping having at least one reinforcing region that has a lower deformability than a remaining part of the damping region and during deviations of the handle in at least two different directions relative to the mounting device causes differently great elastic counter forces.

  • Publication number: 20120000232
Abstract: A refrigeration apparatus includes a self-contained refrigeration module having an at least largely complete refrigeration circuit for cooling a refrigeration chamber of a household refrigerator and having a separate housing. At least one evaporator is arranged in the refrigeration circuit, wherein the housing is provided with apertures for passage of air cooled by the evaporator and air to be cooled by the evaporator. The refrigeration apparatus can be used for a household refrigerator which includes a refrigerating chamber housing having at least one refrigerating chamber. A door leaf is arranged on the refrigerating chamber housing for closing the refrigerating chamber. The refrigerating chamber housing has apertures in communication with the apertures of the housing of the refrigeration module for passage of air cooled by the evaporator into the refrigerating chamber and for passage of air from the refrigerating chamber to the evaporator.
