Method for securely searching, finding, reproducing, recovering, and/or exporting of electronic data
Patent number: 9450948Abstract: A method for securely searching, finding, reproducing, recovering, and/or exporting electronic data from at least two systems which can be found in a network and which are organized in a functionally identical and decentralized manner. The individual systems include a system certificate and a corresponding serial number by the manufacturer and can carry out an authentication process using said system certificate and serial number. Information is provided on user authorizations between the systems using configuration tables which are stored on each of the systems. A maximum level of security is ensured by combining cryptographic methods and the mutual authentication of the involved systems. A user interface is provided for the user, wherein the user receives a pre-selection of the requested electronic data in the user interface and can then mark the pre-selection for further processing.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2012Date of Patent: September 20, 2016Assignee: Artec Computer GmbHInventors: Jerry John Artishdad, Christian Hett -
Patent number: 9396361Abstract: A method and apparatus to establish a trustworthy local time based on trusted computing methods are described. The concepts are scaling because they may be graded by the frequency and accuracy with which a reliable external time source is available for correction and/or reset, and how trustworthy this external source is in a commercial scenario. The techniques also take into account that the number of different paths and number of hops between the device and the trusted external time source may vary. A local clock related value which is protected by a TPM securely bound to an external clock. A system of Accuracy Statements (AS) is added to introduce time references to the audit data provided by other maybe cheaper sources than the time source providing the initial time.Type: GrantFiled: July 24, 2013Date of Patent: July 19, 2016Assignee: InterDigital Patent Holdings, Inc.Inventors: Andreas Schmidt, Christian Hett, Yogendra C. Shah, Inhyok Cha

Publication number: 20150248417Abstract: The invention relates to a method that is used to synchronize dynamic attributes of objects in a database system having an archive system. The possibility is created to also synchronize databases for which synchronization is not provided, in accordance with this method. For this purpose, an additional dynamic attribute or one additional dynamic attribute per attribute to be synchronized is introduced. By means of said attributes, it can be detected whether the particular object in the database system has been changed and synchronization between the database system and an archive system must be performed as a result thereof in order to have the object attributes archived in the current form thereof in the archive system.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 30, 2013Publication date: September 3, 2015Inventors: Jerry John Artishdad, Christian Hett, Nils Artishdad

Patent number: 8966258Abstract: The present invention deals with a method for securely downloading from distributed download sources. The greatest possible download security with a simultaneously minimized server load is achieved in this case. The object of the present invention was to provide an improved download method which also allows simple servers, without the possibility of setting up a secure connection, to be used as download servers and allows the total CPU load on the servers involved to be minimized, wherein the data transmission security can be kept the same, in comparison with a download from a single server, via a secure connection.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 2010Date of Patent: February 24, 2015Assignee: Artec Computer GmbHInventors: Jerry John Artishdad, Christian Hett
