  • Publication number: 20240083694
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a device for forming container groups with a predetermined container piece count from a continuous container stream in a transport area of a filling plant, comprising an infeed conveyor belt, an outfeed conveyor belt, a conveyor belt interposed between the infeed conveyor belt and the outfeed conveyor belt, and a drive station for introducing separating elements and forming container groups. Here, the speed of a separating element introduced into the region of the transport belt is controlled to no more than the first speed, in particular to a speed lower by no more than 2% than the first speed, as long as the following container group has not been fully moved onto the transport belt. The disclosure further relates to a method for forming container groups.

  • Patent number: 11643282
Abstract: A method and a device for buffering containers grouped in a single row in a filling system are described. For this purpose, the containers are entered into storage on at least one infeed conveyor belt in the infeed direction, moved in a single row onto a transversely adjoining buffer area by rail-guided and individually driven shuttles with row pushers in a buffering direction running transverse to the infeed direction, and are removed from storage on at least one outfeed conveyor belt transversely adjoining in the buffering direction. Due to the fact that the row pushers receive the containers in a single row in a guide channel formed/defined by an anterior row guide leading in the buffering direction and by a trailing posterior row guide, the groups of containers can be moved in the buffering direction and positioned precisely, quickly and secured against falling over without back pressure.

  • Patent number: 11366658
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for ensuring seamless lifecycle stability for extensions to standard software products. One example method includes determining a requested change to a software feature of a software object. The software feature has been designated as an extensible software feature and is associated with a lifecycle stability contract that identifies aspects of the extensible software feature that are designated to remain stable across different releases of the software object. The lifecycle stability contract is used to perform a compatibility check for the requested change to determine whether the requested change complies with the lifecycle stability contract. The requested change is permitted in response to determining that the requested change complies with the lifecycle stability contract and the requested change is denied in response to determining that the requested change violates the lifecycle stability contract.

  • Publication number: 20220153565
Abstract: A system and method for filling liquid products into bottles are described. The system comprises a machine block with a blow-molding machine for providing a flow of bottles, with a labeler for labeling the flow of bottles, with a first and second transport stretch, each comprising a filler for filling the bottles, and with a distribution unit dividing the labeled flow of bottles to the transport stretches when the transport is fully populated at all circulating labeling positions of the labeler and all circulating filling positions of the fillers. The filling system comprises outflow conveyors downstream of the fillers, with a combining device for combining the transport stretches to form a common outflow for the flow of bottles, thereby reducing the transport speed during filling and subsequent handling of the bottles, as well as problems due to the product in the bottles spilling over during the closure process.

  • Patent number: 11204925
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for enabling data source extensions for individual customers of a cloud platform. One example method includes receiving an extension request, from a particular customer, to extend a data source used to populate an application output. A selection is received of at least one field to be included in a data source extension that extends the data source. Extensibility metadata is stored, in association with the particular customer, that defines the data source extension. The extensibility metadata identifies the data source, the particular customer, and the selected at least one field. A data request is received, from a client device of a user of the customer, for a field included in the data source extension. The data source extension is used to retrieve a field value for the field and the field value is provided in response to the data request.
