  • Publication number: 20220177849
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of efficiently generating pancreatic endoderm from human pluripotent stem (PS) cell derived human definitive endoderm. The present invention also relates to pancreatic endoderm cells obtained by the methods of the invention. Finally, the present invention relates to culture medium and composition comprising a RAR antagonist and uses of said RAR antagonist in the induction of pancreatic endoderm cells. The present invention provides a more homogenous and synchronised pancreatic cell population, with increased efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20200308548
Abstract: The present invention provides an in vitromethod for obtaining cells of the pancreatic endocrine lineage, comprising a step of culturing pancreatic progenitor cells, wherein said pancreatic progenitor cells are in a cell culture medium comprising at least one BET inhibitor.

  • Patent number: 9012154
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for detecting Ficolin-3 dependent activation of the lectin pathway of complement, methods for identifying abnormalities in Ficolin-3, and methods for screening for deficiencies/and or identifying abnormalities in any downstream components of the Ficolin-3 dependent activation of the lectin pathway of 5 complement using an acetylated Ficolin-3 ligand, said methods generally comprising the steps of: (a) providing a sample of blood, serum, plasma, another body fluid or an extract thereof; (b) (optionally) preventing in the sample activation of the classical pathway and/or the alternative pathway and/or any non-Ficolin-3 mediated activation of the lectin pathway; (c) acetylating a molecule; (d) contacting said acetylated molecule 10 with said sample, in conditions that permit specific binding of Ficolin-3 to said acetylated molecule, and, (e) detecting and quantifying specific binding of the Ficolin-3 to said acetylated molecule, (f) determining in the sample complement ac

  • Patent number: 8280896
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for generating reports and other outputs from a computer program. A user first defines a focus area, composed of chosen data types and then creates a row definition for the focus area. In defining the row definition the user defines groups and subgroups from the data represented by the focus. This definition process allows the user to generate reports from data organized in similar rows. The user has the ability to define the data to be included in the report through the use of an expression. The expression can also be used to exclude data from the report. Additional embodiments allow the user to verify the use of data and if the data has been used multiple times, and to capture on the output the missings and duplicates.

Date of Patent: October 2, 2012
    Assignee: Microsoft Corporation
