  • Patent number: 11945964
Abstract: A system for applying a first coating composition and a second coating composition is provided herein. The system includes an atomizing applicator and a high transfer efficiency applicator defining a nozzle orifice. The system further includes a substrate assembly comprising a metal-containing substrate and a plastic-containing substrate. The metal-containing substrate is coupled to the plastic-containing substrate. The atomizing applicator is configured to apply the first coating composition to the metal-containing substrate. The high transfer efficiency applicator is configured to expel the second coating composition through the second nozzle orifice to the plastic-containing substrate.

  • Publication number: 20230179056
Abstract: To provide a stator core which is configured to substantially reduce the effects of electromagnetic brake and thus improve the efficiency of power generation, and to provide a power generation system capable of implementing such stator core to improve the efficiency of power generation, a stator core for power generation by magnetic or electromagnetic induction, comprising a nucleus; and a wire, wound around said nucleus, wherein the wire is wound towards a winding direction such as to form a plurality of wire intersections, is disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20220305576
Abstract: A fixture for cutting a workpiece using a powered tool. The present disclosure describes a fixture that may be used to cut molding to match the profile of an adjacent molding piece. The fixture includes a saw blade receiver to guide an end of a saw blade through a longitudinal movement as the saw blade is driven by a powered tool. The saw blade receiver maintains a tension across the saw blade during the longitudinal movement. The fixture allows the saw blade angle to be fixed relative to the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 5756585
Abstract: A process for manufacturing a star shaped block polymer of formula (PA--PB--PC).sub.n --N--(PD--PE).sub.m wherein PA, PB and PC are respectively vinylaromatic/methacrylic blocks, acrylic blocks and methacrylic blocks. PD is a polymer block selected from vinylaromatic and/or methacrylic monomer units, PE is an acrylic polymer block, n is 2 to 20 and m is 0 to 18 with the proviso that m+n is .ltoreq.20. The process proceeds by anionic polymerization in the presence of a monofunctional initiator of formula (II),(R).sub.p --Mwherein M is an alkali or alkaline earth metal, p is 1 or 2 and R is a straight or branched alkyl radical having 2 to 6 carbon atoms or a C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 substituted alkyl radical.

  • Patent number: 5391628
Abstract: The application discloses a functionalized multiblock macromonomer of formula: ##STR1## or of formula: ##STR2## in which formulae: each of the blocks A, B and C represents a sequence of a monomer chosen from the acrylic, vinylaromatic, methacrylic, diene, vinylpyridine, vinylpyrrolidone, alkylene oxide, lactam, lactone and maleimide monomer classes, on condition that at least one of the blocks A and C is chosen from a different class to that of block B and that at least one of the blocks A, B or C is a (meth)acrylic sequence,m, n and p are integers representing the number of monomer units in the sequence under consideration, such that 3.ltoreq.n.ltoreq.1000, 0.ltoreq.m.ltoreq.1000 and 0.ltoreq.p.ltoreq.1000, on condition that m and p are not 0 at the same time, andF is a group terminated by O.sup.-, by OH, by an .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenic unsaturation, or by an oxirane groups.

  • Patent number: 5090154
Abstract: A ground cover preventing vegetation growth has a polyethylene or polyurethane ground contacting foil and an asphalt/styrene-butadiene-styrene protective and adhesive layer on the foil. The adhesive layer contains 15 to 25% by weight of a meal-fine mineral filler and is applied to the foil in an amount of 1,750 to 2,250 g/m.sup.2. A stone granulate, e.g. of gravel, with a particle size of 2 to 5 millimeters is pressed into the asphalt/SBS layer in an amount of 3,500 to 5,000 g/m.sup.2.
