  • Patent number: 9623772
Abstract: In a method for producing a vehicle seat fitting, in which a plain bearing bush (28) is pressed in the axial direction into a receptacle of a first fitting part (11), wherein the pressed-in plain bearing bush (28) has a radially protruding securing region (28b), the securing region (28b) is formed before or after the pressing-in operation by material of the plain bearing bush (28) being displaced uncut, and the wall thickness (b) of the plain bearing bush (28) being less than 1.5 mm.

  • Patent number: 9085249
Abstract: A method for producing a vehicle seat fitting involves a sliding bearing bushing (28) being pressed in the axial direction into a receptacle in a first fitting part (11). The pressed-in sliding bearing bushing (28) has a radially protruding securing region (28b). The securing region (28b) is formed before or after the pressing-in operation.

  • Patent number: 9033418
Abstract: A fitting for a vehicle seat is disclosed, in particular for a motor vehicle seat. First and second fitting parts are geared with one another via a meshing gearwheel and gear rim. A peripheral eccentric is driven by a drive element for driving a relative rolling movement of the gearwheel and the gear rim, and the first fitting part receives the eccentric which is supported on the second fitting part. A blocking element blocks the eccentric in the non-driven state of the fitting via toothing on the first fitting part, and releases the eccentric when driven. The gear rim is formed on the first fitting part and the gearwheel is formed on the second fitting part.

  • Patent number: 8905479
Abstract: For a fitting for a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle seat, comprising a first fitting part and a second fitting part, which are in a transmission connection with each other by means of a spur gear and a ring gear, which mesh with each other, and comprising a rotating eccentric driven by a carrier for driving a relative rolling motion of the spur gear and the ring gear, wherein the first fitting part accommodates the eccentric, which is supported on the second fitting part, the fitting is associated with one of at least two load classes and comprises components that are parameterized in regard to the associated load class and components that are carry-over parts for all load classes, wherein the fitting parts are parameterized components and the eccentric is one of the carry-over parts.

  • Patent number: 8905480
Abstract: A fitting for a vehicle seat includes a first fitting part, a second fitting part, and an eccentric, which is rotatably supported and is driven by a carrier and rotates in the circumferential direction, for driving a relative rolling motion of a spur gear and a ring gear. The eccentric has two wedge segments, which each have a convexly curved outer surface, a concavely curved inner surface, and two lateral surfaces. The lateral surfaces have a distance from each other and the inner surface and/or outer surface has a width that is less than the distance, and a transition area, which reduces the local axial dimension of the particular wedge segment from the distance to the width, is provided between at least one of the two lateral surfaces and the inner surface or the outer surface.

  • Patent number: 8905481
Abstract: A fitting for a vehicle seat has a first fitting part and a second fitting part in geared connection via a toothed wheel and a toothed ring, a circumferential eccentric, driven by a driver, for driving movement of the toothed wheel and the toothed ring, wherein the first fitting part receives the eccentric, which is supported on the second fitting part, wherein two wedge segments upon which a spring acts, define the eccentric, a retaining element which retains the eccentric in the non-driven state of the fitting by cooperating with at least one retaining lug of the retaining element via a toothing configured on the first fitting part, and which releases the eccentric, when it is driven by the driver, wherein the retaining element has at least one opening which is penetrated by the spring, the spring penetrates the retaining element at exactly one opening.
